Regina worked hard cleaning the deck, using mainly just one hand, since the cut was on the other. Killian watched her intently, and couldn't help be impressed what a hard worker she was. He smiled, almost with pride, looking at her completed work.

She stood up as she reached the edge of the area, and sighed, feeling a sense of accomplishment. Killian tipped his head up, "Well, quite a hard worker aren't you?" he said, with some praise in his voice. "Well you told me to," She shrugged. He lifted his brows at her, pleased with her, and himself actually.

"Indeed, and you obeyed, and continued even after your injury, I'll have another look at it," he said. "Come," he waved her towards him and she gently stepped over some of the still moist areas on the deck. She looked up at him, and he gently took her injured hand, looking under the bandage, "Mmm, not bad, no sign of infection, have to soak it later," he said.

She stared at him, as he looked over her hand. Curiosity was in her expression, and a genuine care in his.

"Now, I wish to go out this evening, and considering what happened last time, I've decided I'll be taking you with me," he stated. She was surprised, and confused. "And you'll stay next to me the entire time," he said.

"We'll be at a tavern, so if you get out of line, you'll find yourself in a back room once again, receiving my strap," he stated. She blinked her eyes at him, "Understood?" He scolded. "Yes, Captain." She nodded at him.

"Good," he leaned back, "Mr. Smee, prepare a bath," he commanded. "Yes Cap'n," Smee listened and headed off to prepare what he requested. "That will be for you, can't have you going out filthy like this," He said.

Regina's POV

A bath? Me? He's letting me bathe now? Would he watch that too? It made me a bit nervous, he had been turning away while I changed, he had only seen my behind bare. I looked at him, unsure what to say, or do.

"Come, now, you'll have to gently soak the hand," He said, gently moving her by the arm back below deck. He lead her towards another quarters, where a large bath basin was, and Smee had got the water all prepared. "Thank you Mr. Smee," Killian nodded him away.

Regina stood, a bit frozen, unsure and shy. "You can umm, put that wrap on, behind that screen," he pointed. He nodded his head, and she followed his instruction.

Regina's POV

There was a screen there, and I was hidden from him and removed all my clothes, and took the wrap hanging over it, and draped it over me to cover myself. I stared at him, would he just stay there looking at me if I was bathing?

"Come around this side," he instructed at her, and she walked back over to him, nervously. "Once you're in the water, I can't see you, relax, I'm not going to touch you, just playing nanny, now, go on, get in," he instructed her.

Regina took a deep breath and turned her back to him. He looked over her rear seeing the slow fading welts on her behind, and she got into the tub. The water went over her chest, and the room was dim, so he couldn't really see anything as she sat there.

He sat across the room, and watched her. "Careful with the hand, soak it gently," he said softly to her. She nodded at him. "So now you don't speak unless I tell you to?" He asked with a grin.

"Umm, I'm not sure," She shrugged. He smirked, knowing that his discipline was having an affect on her, he didn't need her to admit it. She gently washed over herself, enjoying the warm water on her body.

He got up at one point and she watched him go into a hatch, he pulled out what seemed to be women's clothing. "You'll put this on," he said. "I'll allow you to dress alone, I'll be outside, in case you try anything," he said, leaving the room to let her get out by herself.

There was a white peasant top, a long red skirt, and a black leather bodice, for her to wear. She wondered if it belonged to Milah. She wouldn't ask him though.

Regina stood fully dressed and slipped her boots on, and he reentered the room. "Well, that suits you," He nodded, approvingly. She kept her gaze down, and nodded at him.

"Now, just to remind you," he looked down at her, and paced around, wrapping his left arm around her waist. It took her by surprise, as did what followed, a sharp strong smack to her behind. "Ah!" she gasped, as her behind was still sensitive.

"I've no problem giving you a lashing again, and if you're really bad, I'll do it in front of everyone," he said in her ear, before releasing her waist. He walked back to her front, "Do you understand me?" He asked. "Yes Sir," She nodded.

"Good, let's go," He smiled and guided her up and off the ship. He kept a hand around her arm as they made their way into a tavern. She wasn't sure how she was supposed to behave with him, cheerful or silent, so she just waited for him to tell her.

They sat at a table, the wooden bench irritated her welted behind a bit. He sat close to her, with his leg against hers. Other men gathered at the table and they brought out beer and dice. He looked at her a moment, and placed a stein of beer in front of her.

She looked at him questioning, and he nodded in approval, allowing her to drink it. He was joyful, and started to play games with the men. Regina didn't really understand the game, but watched closely.

"Blow on there," he held up the small cup that held the dice. She stared in his eyes, and blew gently into the cup. He rolled the dice out and cheered, "Well, who knew you're good luck," He winked at her.

She felt her cheeks blush, and felt his hook gently wrap around her waist. "Be a good girl, and go get me more beer," he said to her. She was surprised he was letting her away from him.

Reigna turned to get up, "And remember," he held her wrist with his hook, and whispered to her ear. "I'll beat your behind raw if you try anything," he warned. She nodded at him and he watched her go towards the bar to retrieve beer.

"Well well," a voice spoke next to her. Regina blinked looking up at an unfamiliar man.

"I'll give him that he has good taste, just like my Captain Blackbeard wants," he said with a curl in his lip. Regina grew afraid, and rightfully so, as he clasped her arm roughly. Regina screamed.

Killian got up, and flew over the table, drawing his sword. Regina cried out as the man wrapped his arm around her roughly, drawing his own sword, aiming it at Killian.

"Let her go," Killian said once, glaring at the man. "Blackbeard wants her, for the reward," the man said. "I don't care what your Captain wants," Killian sneered at him and they began to circle each other.

"LET HER GO," Killian shouted again, angrily, practically fuming. The man squeezed Regina, lifting her up, and hurting her ribs. She cried out, and something went off inside Killian.

Killian's POV

I don't know what came over me, the sound of her cry, and the thought of what the men would do to her, things that I never would. I slammed my hook upward grabbing his sword, and sending it to the ground.

Aiming my sword at his jugular, "Let her go," I hissed, and he tossed her towards me. I placed her behind me, feeling her shake with fear.

Regina shook, and found herself clutching Killian's coat behind him for safety.

"You can tell your Captain, no one takes what's mine," Killian said, and then smiled, "Actually, you won't have the chance," he said as he drove his sword into the man's gut.

Regina's POV

I had no idea what just happened, but he just protected me. He was so angry at the man, angry enough to kill him.
