It's been a long time since the day I quit being Kalos Queen. Hardly anybody ever comes up to me anymore. My fans are still supportive, but they respect my privacy. I wish they did that when I was still Kalos Queen.
I was getting closer and closer to Laverre City and I couldn't wait to see my mother again. She was my main supporter when I first started performing. I never knew much of my father, I knew it was a very sensitive subject for my mother so out of respect I just never brought it up.
If there's some big secret....I feel like I should know. I never even got a picture of him. Not a description....just nothing. All I know is that he left because he didn't want to be a part of a family. I guess its one of the reasons why I probably have trust issues, because I'm just afraid people will just leave me, once they get to know the real me. I like being alone, even though I'm not really alone, I have my pokemon.
Silver, Sylveon, and I were walking and it was getting pretty late. I stopped when I see something drop in front of me. I look down at the ground in front of me to see a single rain drop. As soon I see that more rain begins to pour down. I squeal as my clothes become wet and so do my pokemon. I run as fast as I can until I see a big house in the distance.
I run to the front door, but before I can knock, it opens. I scream and jump back and an elderly man steps from inside the house.
"Well, let's get you out of this rain shall we?" He asks but I notice the man looking quite familiar.
"Mr. Lon? Is that you?" I ask in shock as I look at the older man in front of me. My mother told me stories of the man that lived in this suppose scary house, she told me to not judge by appearance. I found out the truth and gained a new perspective on things.
"Well if it isn't little Ellie. My..have you grown. Come in come in." Mr. Lon says. He opens the door slightly and instantly I see familiar pokemon.
Gengar, Haunter, and Ghaslty, swirl around me and I giggle. They go around Silver and Sylveon who give them a friendly greeting. The pokemon go off to play and Mr. Lon leads me to the sitting room. I sit down on one of the comfy sofas and Mr. Lon leaves the room to get me a towel and some tea. I look around the house, it may be old fashioned but it doesn't seem scary to me. I know how Mr. Lon runs the home based off of my first experience here.
When we first met I was one of his victims of his pranks. He would get his ghost pokemon to scare me, tell scary stories and reveal that he isn't alive. Now this trick has worked on many people before but since I wasn't really scared like the others he confided in me with his secret.
I only came to the house myself, based on my mother's stories of the place. My mother knew Mr. Lon very well. My mother is very fond of ghost pokemon like Mr. Lon and even had a Gengar as one of her pokemon. Growing up with Gengar made me not so scared of ghosts. Sure some stuff gives me the chills but I can have a good laugh about it later.
"How's your mother doing? I should really visit her." Mr Lon says as he walks into the room with a tray in his hands. He sets the tray with tea on the table in front of me. He hands me a nice warm fluffy towel and I dry myself off. He pours two cups of tea and I take one for myself.
"She's doing well. I'm actually heading to Laverre City to visit her." I said and he nods. He points to his television and smiles my way.
"I watched your recent performance lately. How are you feeling my dear. I know what you did wasn't an easy decision." Mr. Lon says and I shrug. I put my tea cup down and run my hands over my thighs out of nerves.
