NO LONGER A BOOK :(

band vs band

"laterrr." i moaned as maddy snacked the pillow beneath me.

"ok, but if your late for -"

"how can i be late if its down stairs in the garage?"

"you honestly think you're capable of that?"

"eh."

i kicked the covers off my legs & sat up in bed as maddy closed my bedroom door. i checked my phone which reveled the time.

"11am!" i said to myself.

"why the hell are you waking me up this early!?" i yelled out load. being in the house i grew up in with my bestfriends\bandmates has its up & downs. the downs manly because they all go to school & we have to balances schedules all the time. i for one have dropped out of school & only play on a soccer team but my practices aren't really effective to the balancing. it was saturday & even though i wanted nothing to do but sleep in, i needed to put on pants & sit on a drum stool for my band.

"holy shit, she's up!" aliaha said sarcastically tuning her electric guitar.

"a miracle worker you are maddy." lilly said holding the mic & turning around. maddy took a bow & made her way to the bass guitar across the room. most people would say its crazy for a group of 16-18 year old to have already moved out & have house together.

"what song are we doing today?" i said still in my morning voice making my way to the camera that was already set up.

"misery business by paramore." lilly said not looking up from her guitar. i shot my head towards aliaha who was already looking at me. i developed a grin on my face & both of us engaged in laughter. misery business had always been me & aliaha kinda "friendship song" since the second year we've been friends.

"you guys are dorks." maddy said leaning on the way with her arms crossed.

"aw thank you so much!" aliaha said with one hand on her electric & the other on her heart. we had redesigned the whole garage. all the walls were sound proof & we did our best to do the same for the door, but the neighbors have known me for so long that they're fine with it. some them used to help me with jobs to do for them so i could buy the equipment i needed a few years ago so i could start a youtube page. i used to just play my acoustic guitar & sing, along with a few drum covers. now i got a whole band with my befriends & the same neighbors are still supporting me! i quickly made my way to my drum set & turned on the other camera that was aimed towards me. lilly turned on the main camera on & made her way to the mic stand.

" hey guys, its negative intake!" we all said into our mics at the same time. i beat maddy to her line.

" & we're covering misery business by paramore today!" i said banging my drums to some random beat.

"hey, my line! anyways make sure to watch til the end of the video for some infooooo." maddy said.

"1,2,3,4.."

by the end of the song i was still really pumped & way more awake then i was before. usually that means i can do a drum cover & upload it after we finish our group cover. but first we had to do our outro.

" well guys we have a few things to tell ya." i said facing my camera.

" first being daizha dyed her hair again, but that happens all the time." aliaha said to her camera. i turned back to mine & ran my fingers through my newly dyed green hair.

"oh, i cant wait till your bald." maddy said laughing.

"anywayyss we have an original song coming up for you guys." lilly said to her camera to get us back on track.
