Reliving the Past

A month had gone by, nothing was the same.

Melo slowly grew depressed, she didn't smile anymore, talk as much, or acknowledge her dogs.

It was just school, work, and home. All in that exact order.

Her parents took notice and tried to understand but Melo made it difficult to open up to them, she knew they wouldn't believe her if she told them the truth.

Vernon was the same way, he felt like he was back in rehab, all those lonely miserable days were coming back and feeding off of him.

In school Melo and him would ignore each other and act as if they never had a past. Which of course made it awkward between their friends as well.

Kaylee and her boys decided it was best if they kept their distance between Melo and her boys.

Since the day Melo almost revealed their true identities, they couldn't risk the chances of that happening again, Yoongi assured them it wouldn't occur but they took extra precuations.

How long will this keep going?

-Kaylee POV-

Our last customer finally left and I quickly ran to the door and locked it then put up the closed sign.

I sighed, "At last. We can go home!" I said cheerfully.

Jooheon: Not until we're done cleaning.

He handed me a mop, "Get to it." He ordered.

I rolled my eyes, "I hate this job sometimes. After a long stressful day we're still expected to clean?"

Minhyuk: It's part of the job, Kaylee. Don't take it so personal.

Whatever.

We all began cleaning, 15 minutes in and one of the boys were ready to bounce.

I.M: All right boys, I am out.

The rest said goodbye.

"Woah wait wait." I said and stopped what I was doing, "Why does he get to leave before us?" I asked.

Shownu: He's done with his duties.

"And what duties did he finish?" I continued asking and being annoying.

I.M: Kaylee, just mind your own business. I'm sure you'll finish sooner if you shut up.

Shownu and the others laughed.

I scoffed, "Jerk."

Kihyun: Kaylee, why don't you go help Wonho in the back. I'm sure that's where you'd rather be anyway.

Everyone continued to laugh and tease me.

Minhyuk: Ok c'mon guys give her a break, I really want to go home.

I dropped the utensils in my hands and without a word I went to go see Wonho in the back.

He was busy organizing the supplies in the storage room, I closed the door behind me and grasped his attention.

Wonho locked eyes with me, "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"The guys suggested I come help you." I told him.

He smirked, "Or do you just want to make out?"

I chuckled and approached him, I wrapped my arms around his neck, "I mean.. that too."

Wonho giggled and then slowly leaned down and pressed his lips against mine.

We broke the kiss and gazed into each other's eyes, "How about we finish up fast enough so we could go watch a late night movie or something. What do you say?" Wonho suggested.
