You left me, and I can't help but to wonder why.
I gave you everything you wanted.
I gave you my love until I had no more to give.
I gave you my soul until I had none of my own.
Everything I did was to make you happy.
Everything I did was to please you.
I gave you all I had.
All of me for all of you.
But it wasn't enough.
You would take and take.
With your greedy hands grabbing at everything you saw.
Even if everything wasn't me.
A little here and a little there you would say.
You were taught to be grateful for what you had.
You must have missed the memo.
Because out of everything you that were, grateful was not one.
And it left me empty.
