Chapter 12

Sorry. I was going to publish this last night. But I could not get a signal worth anything. So I did the smart thing. Went to bed and wait. I decided to publish it today. I get one it today and half of my chapter is missing. So. I'll publish the half for now. Some time this week I'll publish the other half. Now read on.

Percy's POV

When the elevator doors opened. I did not expect what I saw....

Tony's POV

We were heading out of the Empire State Building to go and get some lunch. I was hungry. Sooo, hungry. But, before we could four toddlers run into us.... Let me tell you. YIKES! What is with toddlers being scary? Like majorly scary, yet cute at the same time? How do they do it? I WANT TO KNOW! 

"Hey, children. Where are you going? Where is your parents?" Steve ask them.

"Um.... They work here? Yeah. You see my dad owns the business here. He is the almighty king." A little girl with electric blue eyes and spikey black hair. The other three children laugh at what the girl says.

"Funny. I don't think your father is the king of anyt-OW! Really Nat?" I ask. She leans and whispers in my ear.

"They are children. They say things all the time that are not true. It is what makes them cute! Now shhhh!"

Natasha flicks me in the ear and walks over to the little children. She bends down in front of them.

"Hey there. Why doesn't your dad have you with him then? Who is watching you? It isn't safe for you guys to be alone." Nat says to them sweetly. SWEETLY?! Like, what happens to scary assassin Nat? I think she had been hanging out with children to much. It is making her go soft. Or has she always had a soft spot? I'll never know! Or I might...

"Oh well you see.... Yeah. Nico. I've got nothing.  You win. Your turn! Give them some excuse. They don't believe mine. We need Annabeth and Kelp face. We are terrible at coming up with plans." The black haired girl says.

"Thalia! You didn't even stick to our plan! This is why we don't bring you along!" The kid, Nico says.

"Well this happened to me too. So we need to go talk to our parents. This little brain of mine is not working. I quitted the hunters so that I didn't have to watch you all die! Ugh! Everything is smaller now!" That's when she starts crying. All the other children look at her with wide eyes. They act like she has never cried before.

"Will! Fix her! She has water coming out of her eyes!" Nico says. That's when another little girl with dark brown hair lip starts to tremble.

"You to Reyna? Is there something up with today? All the people who never cry are crying!" The other boy, will says. Both the girls then glare at the two boys. Will then gets tears in his eyes. His lip starts to tremble. That's when it finally hits me. Did they say Annabeth? In the start of  there 'fight' did they say Annabeth? Wasn't one of the girls who went in the elevator with the others named Annabeth? Yes, yes it was.

"So, this girl Annabeth. Does she come here often?" I ask.

"Well... sort of?" Nico says.

"Does she have blonde hair and grey eyes? About your age, 4ish.
Hangs out with seven other kids. Especially a black haired boy named Percy?"

"Yes!? We were looking for them. They went missing the other night after a game of truth or dare. Then.... well we are going to ask our parents what happened!" Nico says.

Sorry for not updating in forever. School started up. It is already getting crazy. Homework this and assignment do that. Ugh. Who knew being a teenager was soooooo stressful. Well night! Have a good one.
