Luke POV

I held her hands, they were so small compared to mine I couldn't handle looking at her in this condition. She's been out cold for a week now and she mumbles my new in her sleep, but besides that there was nothing that I could do, but be here beside her when she wakes up.

Kissing her fingertips my hands shook against hers.

The door to the room opened and El and Ash stepped in. "You have to bathe, Lucas." Ash reached for me.

"Don't touch me, I'll bathe when she tells me to." I snarled, grimacing at them.

"I don't particularly like you but, you are my nieces father." Ellie handed a take out box of Chinese food.

Looking from her to the box and back again, I questioned her, "Why would you get me food? You hate me, the both of you do." I denied the food. You probably poisoned it.

"If I didn't like you or care about you, why would I get you food?" Ellie handed me the food again.

"Poisoned." I turn my softened gaze back to Jaz.

"see look." she took a piece and ate it.

I glared at her, "How do I know you guys didn't just plant that clean piece of food."

"Choose a piece then." she looked sadly at me as if she pitied me.

I picked up a niece of orange chicken and she ate it, I waited for her to drop like a fly but she didn't and I slowly held the food in my hands and through the fork to the ground and scarfed the food down with a swift shoveling motion of my hand.

I hadn't eaten in a week that I looked gaunt. I've dropped wait, I had no need in eating if she didn't wake.

"Can you at least shower for the girls?" Ashton grumbled.

I nod.

"Here's your clothes and toiletries." Ellie handed me my things and I headed towards the hospital bathroom.

Ashton POV

The way Luke observed Ellie waiting for her to react if she had poisoned it, I felt really bad that I ever hated him, he's such a wreck without her, and she obviously isn't any better.

I kiss Ellie's head as she nuzzles into my side and kisses my chin. Moving to her side Ellie took Luke's place beside her and I wiped my eyes with the heels of my hands. "Hey there, sis. Anny and Rai are doing good. They miss their mum terribly and they need you to get better for them." Ellie kisses her head.

I rub her shoulders, "I'll go get us some Starbucks." placing a tender kiss to her cheek I left her alone with Jaz.

Ellie POV

Placing my hand to her warm cheek I felt her fingers twitch.

"That's it, Jess come back." I held her hand and checked her vitals.

Her lips parted open and she sighed in relief. Squeezing her hand she sent one my way, I chuckled to myself.

"C'mon, c'mon c'mon.." I squeezed her hand as she squeezed my hand till it hurt and she scrunched her brow and rolled over, "Your so loud, El.. Hush.."

I gasped at my sister, she had finally awaken.
