June and the other heirs were quiet for the rest of the day. All their friends were worried about them since they all looked so shocked and unfocused. Xylon was especially worried since June wouldn't joke with him.

"Are you alright? Why are you so quiet? Is there a problem? Hey! Talk to me will you? Are you mad at me for taking your phone? Are you sick? Hungry?" Xylon kept on bugging June as they walk out of their classroom.

Dismissal time already came but the heirs still didn't look so well. They'll smile and nod, but their friends will know that there's something wrong with them.

June abruptly stopped walking which made Xylon trip on his feet. "Why are you stopping?" He asked as he stood up and dusted himself. "Don't tell anyone you saw this, alright Adams?" Xylon joked but June was still silent.

Xylon snapped his fingers in front of June to snap her out, she seemed like she was in a deep thought.

June's eyes looked at Xylon's hands then to his eyes.

Xylon stopped when June looked at him. He could feel her gaze right through his soul, it was deadly.

"Xylon, should we do it?" she suddenly asked.

"Do what?" Xylon snapped out of her gaze and looked at some other direction.

     "Should we take the risk?"

Xylon looked at June with an unreadable expression. He tried to look at her eyes, hoping to know what she meant but he couldn't, her eyes are full of hidden secrets.

"Yes." Xylon answered absentmindedly. "We should take risks to protect the ones we love." He whispered, his eyes not taking off her.

June looked at him with sudden energy. "Thanks." She hugged him quickly before she ran to the parking lot.

Xylon stood frozen there for a moment, then he blinked. "Yeah. Yeah, you're welcome." He answered as his eyes never left June who's running to their van.
