*Your P.O.V*
I look at myself in the mirror, buttoning up my white blouse. My red bow laid on my bed, matching my skirt. I didn't know why did the school need uniforms anyway. It wasn't necessary. Wearing uniforms were never my thing.
The school also expects the girls to keep their hair in a ponytail but my hair had grown longer for a reason. When I was younger, it was short and everyone found it adorable on me but if I look at my five-year-old self, I'd say I looked rather ugly. It's quite a habit, to be honest. I wouldn't say that I lack self-esteem, but it was more like simply hating myself for the way I look. My mom usually gets pretty upset when I say something like that in front of her and she would start to compliment me. That's also a habit. I sometimes say bad things about myself just to get people to compliment me. I can't blame myself, though. I mean, everybody has flaws. My mom called me from down-stairs right then, pulling me out of my thoughts. "(Y/N)! Hurry up already and eat breakfast, you don't wanna be late for school!" she shouted to me. Ugh. She's acting as if I was going to take the bus, which I did do in middle school. But since I'm going to high-school, I think it's always better to walk than take the bus. People say that it's a sign of bravery and courage. Don't judge. Sometimes I buy these stuff and sometimes I don't.
I fix my bow and stare at the white high-kneed socks that were on my bed. Those black flats I bought last night were meant to be worn with the socks but after what seemed like an eternity, I grabbed my casual socks and put on my sneakers. Trust me, I am no good girl when it comes to taking orders.I make my way downstairs and enter the kitchen. The smell of chocolate chip waffles reached my nose and right then, I quickly slip into my chair and begun devouring on my break-fast. My mom turned around and looked at me. She sighed, leaving me staring at her with a questioning look on my face.
"What?" I asked before shoving another piece into my mouth. She crossed her arms.
"You didn't tie your hair," she said. I rolled my eyes.
"I know," I replied, "I didn't wear the socks and flats either."
"(Y/N), we didn't waste twenty dollars on flats so that you can just throw them away!" My mom exclaimed.
Oops. Maybe telling her about my foot-wear wasn't the best idea...Well, she would have noticed later anyway.
After breakfast, I brush my teeth and grab my school bag. My mom was waiting for me at the door but she didn't get out of her night-gown either. I raised an eyebrow at her, entering the kitchen again to make my lunch. I put my food in a paper bag and head towards the door, surprised that my mom was still standing there.
"Don't you have work?" I asked her, grabbing my math book to carry it along the way.
"I do but I have to be there in one hour," she said, opening the front door for me. I walked out the house and waved good-bye but my mom hadn't closed the door yet, even when I got on the side-walk.
"March!" she told me, and I rolled my eyes. Once I crossed the street, I looked back to the house and saw my mom closing the door.
She's so over-protective.*Len's P.O.V*
As I walk in the school, I could feel eyes follow me. Am I that attractive? Oh well. I did change from a goody smile to a beaten up face and now...this. That's right; I got in some trouble with the older kids back in middle school. No biggie.
I turn to Rin and see that she's smiling at everyone. She's pretty excited for high-school. I mean, she has been blabbering about making new friends and improving her grades all summer. Honestly, I don't even know why she even wants to come to school. Her life is better off without all the pressure that might affect her career in music videos. Oh wow. Now I sound like my mom.
Out of no where, I feel two hands land on my shoulders. I turn around to see that it's Kaito.
"Hey, bro!" He says with his cheerful smile, "How was your summer?"
I smile back.
"Hey," I reply, "Summer was good."
"Ah, no luck in finding a girlfriend?" He asks me, as if he was the one who set me up for the whole search.
However, I shook my head sadly.
"That's a shame," he said, "But good news, I have a love interest now." Now I'm surprised. Kaito has actually found love? Well, I suppose it had to be done since there were a bunch of girls crushing on him in middle school. That was the last time we saw each other.
"Oh really?" I ask casually, "Who is it?"
He pointed at Hatsune Miku, one of our childhood friends. We have been pretty in touch through out video chats but she was away in America for middle school. She had to go because of her dad's job. She didn't look too different though. Can't blame her either. Those pigtails look like they were meant to be used for her hair.
"Seriously?" I asked him, "You couldn't have crushed on her five years ago or something?" He stared at me blankly then protested,
"Hey, at least she isn't some girl I have been checking out on the beach." I rolled my eyes. Kaito can be so dramatic sometimes.
That's when he changed the subject. "What class do you have first?" He asks me. I take out my schedule and look down at the words.
"History," I said. Not my favourite though.
"Same," he said.
"Kaito?!" I heard Rin's voice shout out from behind me. Just then, I see her throw her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. He laughed and hugged back.
"Hey, Rin," he said to her before pulling away.
Then we all headed to class.*Your P.O.V*
Well, here I am. At school. And my status so far: Underground. Even under the nerds. If there are any. But I'm not a judgemental person when it comes to school status.
I pull out my schedule and check my first class. History. Eh, not much of a problem. I'm a bit neutral when it comes to this class. I might fall asleep, might listen. I don't know.
I make my way towards my locker at first and put away all my books that won't be needed in History class.
"(Y/N)?!" I heard a familiar voice shout out my name from behind me. I turn around to see Gumi with Megurine Luka. I smile. I'm actually happy to see them again.
Gumi throws her arms around me and I get pulled into a tight hug. I hugged back and look at Luka, who was simply smiling. We pull away then I hug Luka.
Gumi and I head to class but Luka sadly didn't have the same classes as us. Bummer, huh?
As we walk in, I scan the seats and the students but nothing special between any of them.
.....And that's when he caught my eye. His blonde hair and blue eyes reminded me of who he was. But I couldn't believe it. Is that really him? No, it can't be.
