His heartbeat increased beyond a healthy rhythm. "Hey, little omega. Came here to talk," a man said.

Namjoon shook his head, "leave,"

"You see I've heard that you have the attention of little Jungkookie," he chuckled before gruffly coughing. "I'm right, right?" he says lifting his head up. He was plump in a leather trench coat that didn't quite fit right.

"I asked you to leave," Joon repeated. This man was not going to hurt him, he was going to scare him, threaten him.

"I also know that you have pups,"

His blood turned cold, an instinct protect had him barring his teeth and lowly growling.

"You see," he continued walking in the slushy muddy snow, "I need you to do me a favor. Jungkook is the heir and is in the process of taking over the company... His parents won't like you, I know that for a fact. They would probably disown him for getting any closer to you. Do it. Get closer. If their only heir falls through they will give the inheritance to their godson, ...my son," he explained.

"If you don't leave I'll be forced to call the cops," he snapped back.

"Omega, ...Joonie," he seethed "I'm going to be living a long time, long enough to ruin you even more than you already ruined yourself... What about your pups? What will happen if their dad suddenly stopped coming home?" Joon's fists clenched and his shoulders shook with fury

"I can control their lives, build them up only to let them fail," he promised eerily calm despite the storm he stood in. Namjoon was safely under the awning, but could still bite the cold.

"Please just go," he desperately said touching his head lightly pulling his hair.

"I know you'll do it because deep down you would do anything for your kids just like I am," he said stepping back beside his car. "Who knows maybe after this I could help out your pups in exchange for ruining Jungkook's life," he said stepping into his vehicle. It came to life with a warm buzz before it was gone, left the street, but still hadn't left his mind.

How had that man found him? He was smart enough to know that if that man could figure out who he was his threats were not empty promises. The man also knew that he would follow through. Everything was for his pups. Even if that meant ruining someone's life.

He stood there clutching the handrail in one hand and his head the other. His pulse had almost gone back to normal when the sounds of tires scraping against the icy pavement startled him awake.

A startled gasp left his lips as if he looked at the devil, but the only devil here was him.

A sleek black car, headlights turned off and the approaching expensive shoes stepping through his yard. Up to the tight-fitting slacks and suit jacket upwards to the lazy smirk. Namjoon stood up shakey and nervously backing away to the door.

"Taehyung told me where you live," Jungkook confidently told him getting closer ignoring the flutters of snow getting caught in his black hair. His pups were in his house, everything for them.

"You're not supposed to be here," he shuddered opening the door and taking a step back. He couldn't act differently. Act confident.

"I know you don't want me here," he sighed stooping a few feet in front of the omega. Whorling snow picked up fluttering his hair against his forehead. His smile was too sweet and Namjoon dreaded having to crush it.

"But I wanted to check up on you. Tae already told you my parents are in town for the week," he shrugged nonchalantly.

"I-I..." he couldn't find words because his breath was hard to catch. His chest hurt.
