"I don't want to be annoying, but if you have to do it."

Bash and I were arguing. I have been working at the farm for almost a year now and Sebastian thinks it's time for me to go to college and follow my dreams. Since he knew how much I loved learning new things and how it would help fulfilling my dream into becoming a doctor.

But I couldn't, I didn't have the money and I needed too take care of the horses. I didn't want to lose the horses, I just couldn't. If I sold them and the house, it would feel like I betray my parents. They adored them.

"You know I can't! What about the farm? I don't have the money and I don't want to lose the horses too someone who just.. kills them." Anger began to take over me, he didn't understand. He has a wife and a kid of 6 months, I told him that he should focus on that.

But I secretly regret that.

Sometimes I feel so lonely.

Sebastian layed his hands on my shoulders and looked at my in concern. "You should start choosing for yourself, this is about your future. Imagine all the possibilities when you're an successful doctor. You can do what you love, heal people, make people feel better."

Sebastian looked at me like he could see right through me. He knew me and understood me better than anyone.

"But, I don't want to betray my parents. I would feel like I have failed them. The horses were their everything. I can't lose that." I started getting more vulnerable while talking about my parents. Their dead still is a soft spot and I think that it will always be like that.

Bash noticed that, just like he always does.

"You will never betray them. You won't fail them. Your parents only would want you too find happiness. This isn't your happiness. You're living the life of your parents, but not yours." There was a small silence. We were inside of my house, you could hear the birds chirping from outside. Before I could say anything, Sebastian continued.

"Sell the farm. Do what makes you happy. You can stay at our house, Mary would welcome you with open arms. You can give the horses too the Cuthberts, so that you can still see them. And you can use the money from the house too get into Redmond." I stared at Sebastian for a few seconds, then hugged him. He hugged me back right away. His warmth catches me.

"I-, I think I'm going to do it." I didn't see it, but I felt Bash smiling. "Thank you so much Bash,"

"Always, Blythe"

And that's were it all began.

A few months later, I closed my suitcase

A few weeks before that, I got good news, I got accepted into Redmond

I sold the farm and I didn't know it was worth that much. I got enough money too pay my time at college and too live in a dorm and I still have some money left if I ever needed it. The Cuthberts also promised me too take care of the horses and I couldn't thank them enough for that.

But the thing is, it's in Kingsport an old town in Nova Scotia, a town far away from Avonlea and the bog.

So my plan was that I would try to go back sometimes to Sebastian in the weekends, and the rest of the week I would stay in Charlies dorm, who lived in one of the boys dorms buildings.

I told Mary, Sebastian and their baby girl Estella goodbye at the train station and I can't lie, I felt a tear of two falling down my cheek.

When I saw Charlie standing in front of the college, I felt a wash of relieve. I would be way too stressed too find the dorm and the correct room all by myself. When he saw me he walked up to me with a smile. "Hey Gilbert! Good too see you man."

We talked for a bit while walking towards his dorm. Charlie was wearing a dark blue and white uniform just like everybody else that was walking around. Some girls were staring at me from a distance and when I looked back, they started giggling. They were all sitting together in a circle on the grass. I can't lie, I was hoping she was there with them.

A group of guys stood in the shadows not far from the girls. They were hanging against the wall off the building which seemed like a castle. It was old, but that's what made it have this romantic atmosphere. It has this weird feeling, were it feels cold, but warm at the same time, like sun sparkles in the water.

Charlie talked about some guys he knew, which teachers he didn't like and which he did, the food that was good and what was gross, which classes he found the most interesting, how the school could be pretty much a maze at first but that you learn the ways quickly.

I couldn't really focus on what he was saying at some point, because from a distance, I saw this girl.

A girl with amazing shining red hair.

I couldn't see her face, but I shivered. She was reading a book under a magical big tree, her hair was loose so it covered her face while she looked down.

She seemed like an imagination, she was only focused on the book, there was nobody around her which she didn't seem too care about. She was surrounded by white daisies and the grass seemed too sparkle from the reflection of the sun on it. It looked so peaceful.

It could be her,  but I don't know which college she went too, it could be anyone.

I hoped it was.

I snapped out of my trance when Charlie called my name. He stood by the doors of a building with many windows and the walls covered in ivy's. "Blythe! Over here!"

I looked back at the girl for a second, hoping she would look up.

She didn't.

Charlie's room was a complete mess, paper everywhere, books piled up in a corner and his clothes were laying on his messy and uncleaned bed. It was a big room, there were two beds and two desks. There was one big closet and some other things like paintings on the wall and a clock. A big window divided the room into two.

"I know, it's a mess. You can put your books here under your desk and you can put your clothes in the closet. Not that that's really a surprise." Charlie said jokingly

While I was unpacking my stuff, Charlie left the room. After a few minutes he called my name from the hallway.

"Hey Blythe! You want too come too the party tonight?" I put my head out of the room and saw him standing at the door of another room with two other guys.

"What do you mean? Is that even allowed?" Him and two boys he started laughing. I raised an eyebrow towards them.

"That's not the question, are you coming with me or not? It will be fun and you will get too know the boys here better." I looked at the guys that stand beside him, they seemed nice in some way. I have never been too a party and I didn't plan on it either. It seemed like, a lot.

But Charlie was right, I needed too get too know the people there.

"Alright, fine, I'll come"
