The sun was about to go down when Charlie and I stood outside, the sky was mixed with pink and blue colors and white clouds. All the lights on the campus started to come on and Charlie and I were heading towards the party.

I was wearing dark blue trousers, black shoes, a long-sleeved white shirt and a dark blue pull-under with the logo of Redmond College on it.

I had no idea were Charlie was heading but I decided too just follow him and see where we were going to end up.

There weren't many people outside, but the people that were seemed all too walk towards one single direction. The place was further away form Redmond than I thought. It was a tiny old building and it looked like it hadn't been fully cleaned in years. Lights came from through the windows and you could see some people standing on the balcony above two big doors that stood wide open.

Once we got inside it felt ten times warmer, the room looked like one big ball room filled with teenagers. All the way in the back there was a man singing on a podium accompanied by a girl on a piano and a man on a double bass. You could find the stairs in the corner on the left, that had a sign that said that they let too the toilets. There were only a few lamps hanging on the ceiling. Because of that the room was pretty much dark, but you could still see most of the people that where there, if that makes any sense.

"Hey Charlie, over here!" A guy on the left side of the room waved a Charlie. He had wavy blonde hair that looked like it gave light because of one of the lamps that hung above him. Charlie looked at me and I nodded.

After a few minutes I began too feel a bit bored, Charlie was talking too his friends and I didn't really know what to say. Him and the boys were talking about school related things which I haven't experienced anything off yet. So I just looked through the massive crowd of people.

You know that feeling, when you're looking for someone in a crowded room. Even though you have no idea if the person is even there. You just do it, without thinking much by it. Like it's normal, like, it's something that you always do when there are many people around.

I was doing that. Because, maybe, just maybe, she would be here, somewhere.

There were some people sitting in a corner next too the podium playing spin the bottle, a big group of people were dancing in front of the podium and in another corner next too the doors there was a group of girls talking and laughing with each other.

Then my heart stopped.

I saw the shining red hair, the girl from the tree, the 'imaginary' girl.

Anne.

She was standing at the exact opposite of where I was. Anne was standing next too Diana, who was talking too one of the girls. She seemed too be daydreaming, just like she always did. Her eyes looked even more beautiful now that the light from the lamp catches them. The blue in her eyes looked like the sky and her hair seemed so soft. She looked even more pretty than I remembered.

Then she looked back. She saw me, too.

Her eyes turned from stressed and nervous too soft and calm. I didn't know what to do at first, but I think she didn't either. So we just, stared at each other.

But, it's wasn't awkward or weird. No, far from that, it was comforting.

I felt like I wasn't the only one in the room that wanted too get out of this living oven as soon as possible. I felt like she understood me. I knew all of that only by looking in her eyes.

I felt like we were the only ones standing in the room.

After a few seconds, which seemed like hours, our trance got broken by Charlie, who was calling my name. At the same time, Diana took Anne towards the girls.

She is here. Anne is in this exact room. Anne knows that I'm here, too.

Charlie introduced all his friends too me and told them about how him and I met. But, I forgot all their names the second they told me and I didn't even listen too a word Charlie was saying. I wasn't focused, at all, not after that one moment.

Eventually I started looking through the crowd again. Only too see Anne walking out of the building, alone.

Without hesitation, I decided too go and follow her.
