Elijah and Shattered

No one Pov.

For the rest of the day Lumine watched the outside door of Kodys classroom. Kody was bored in class as usual and Elijah was skipping classes.

Lumine was in his pupper form under a chair.

Lumine Pov.

I wag my tail slightly. Kody was almost done with his final class. I know that Elijah is out here in the halls too. I don't watch to talk to him though he's friends with some of the guys who bully Kody.

Also I don't think that Kody likes him either. Elijah says he wants to be friends with Kody again but I neither like or dislike him.

"Lumine!" My ear twitches to the sound of my name. I turn around "how'd you know it was me?" "Your eyes give you away, not many waredogs have multi colored eyes" I blush not thinking of that giving me away.

"Your forms a little small don't you think" Elijah says trying to start conversation. "Well it's a birth defect" I lie thinking about why my huge wolf form wasn't working. "So it's a birth defect... So why do you hang out with Kody?" The fur on my neck stands up "he's my friend and based on what you said you used to be too, or at least you tried to" I say slightly defensive. "O-oh" "I won't let anyone hurt him" Elijah looks stated by my tiny yet fierce form.

Elijah them blushed. "Do you like him?" I blush too showing red from under my white fluffy fur. "Yeah I do" Elijah looked away from me "how about me?" He asked his ears matching his what seemed to be red face. "I'm not sure yet. I neither like or dislike you" "Oh...*Elijah looked hurt by those words* well then I just wanted to tell you-" th bell rings.

It was loud do I had to cover my ears with my paws. "I'm sorry I didn't her you" before Elijah can repeat himself Kody leaves the classroom. I go into my human form tail wagging.

"Hi Kody!" "Did you seriously wait here all day?" Kody asked. "Yeah..." I blush finding it more stupid than it was when brought into conversation.

"You didn't have to" Kody blushed. "But I wanted to, besides its kind of my job" I hint walking away from Elijah.

Kody stares at me. I blush feeling uncomfortable. Kody doesn't really look at me like that. Besides he seems to wasn't to day something but isn't saying nothing to me.

We walk back home in awkward silence.

When Kody opens the door he isn't picked up and swung around like usual. We soon find Aiden sobbing. "What's wrong?" I asked him. He looks up at me "I killed goat mom" "dad you're playing genocide... You should be playing on pacifist" Kody says looking at the screen.

"What game is that?" "You've never played undertale?" Kody says in disbelief. "Can you show me?" Kody rolled his eyes "okay only so you don't hug me for it later"

After

"I get it now, thank you Kody!" "W-whatever" Kody blushed.

Then he finally said it "so what's going on between you and Elijah?" He looked at me. It was loud he wanted me to lie so he can tell me off. I don't give him that though. I tell him the truth. "I'm not sure he wants to be friends but I'm not sure about him" "stay away from him, he like-likes you" "he can't! Besides he knows I like you anywa- ....*becomes very red* N-Never mind!" I say catching myself late.

Kody blushes. His emerald green eyes stare into my blue and yellow eyes. "Y-you like me? Th-that's weird! Don't speak like that anymore! Especially not around others!" My heart sunk. Deeper with every stinging word that fell from Kodys lips.

My wolf ears fall. A treat left my eye accidently. It felt like my heart was being demolished it hurt really bad.

"I-I'm sorry!" I say before leaving his room. "Lumine!" Kody shouts something else too but I stopped listening. 

The pain in my chest took over paralyzing my body as I lied on my bed. Everything.

The house. My clothes. The walls. The people. Him in general. All were signs.

Signs of the words Kody spoke. I open the window leaping out of it. I need to he alone right now.
