Bram had no right to be so jealous, it's not like he and Jacques were dating. They flirted yes but in the end his feelings were one-sided and now there were aching rumors of the now out of the closet Bisexual Cal Price and Simon are going out, it made his heart crack. Leah Burke, Simon's best friend was the first one to say anything on the rumor so it had to be accurate right? Bram was sitting on Mr. Wise's couch in English class alongside Nick, Garrett, Leah. Simon would be coming in soon, he is usually one of the last ones to come in.
"Oh my god you guys, Si might have his first boyfriend soon and I ship it so hard," Leah whispered to us. Nick raised a brow, "Is it his email dude?" He whispered back looking around the room to see if anyone could hear. "I have no idea, It's Calvin Price. He stopped Si in the hallway and told him he was bisexual." Leah beamed and Bram's heart broke. Cal had blue eyes... Oh... Oh. Of course. He thought Cal was Blue, and of course, he's Bi. Because what else kind of luck would Bram have otherwise.
"B.. Bram... Abraham!" Garrett had said his name about seven times four different ways and he finally snapped out of it as they sat on the benches during soccer practice. "You've been out of it all day... Dude move on, Spier isn't worth it. If he ditches you for that twink then forget him." Garrett said with a huff. "Gar..." Bram sighed frowning, "I'm allowed to mourn." He said with a slight pout, maybe making jokes about the situation would heal the cracks in his heart. It didn't.
Once he got home he couldn't focus on anything, not even the long email Simon wrote about his addiction to a new show. The end of the email had said he was happy that he had someone to share all his fandoms with and that made his heartbreak more. Was he referring to Cal? Because they both like theatre?
With a scowl and aching chest, he wrote out his reply with haste.'Simon,
That's awesome. Seems like everything is working out the way you wanted them too. Good for you...
-Blue.'
Sent.
Maybe he shouldn't have replied while the wounds were fresh, but it hurt. Simon hurt him, how could he choose someone over blue? Didn't he promise Blue that no matter who he was, he'd stay with him?
This three years long one-sided crush has to end.
Of course, Simon wrote back with confusion and frustration. Blue decided to ignore him and go on with his day. This week, weeks... Blue disappeared even when he promised he wouldn't.
