Guilt

Bram watched Simon during classes and lunch, he saw how very wrong he must have been about Simon and Cal because there was no Cal suddenly sitting at their table or even around Simon at all like Bram had imagined would happen. Instead, Simon actually looked, heartbroken, distracted, and frustrated. He was withdrawn all week from conversations at the lunch table and would leave the second the bell rang without saying a word to anyone. Blue messed up, he had to make this right again. After three years of liking this boy, he couldn't just throw it away because of some stupid jealousy.
After two weeks had passed and Bram's package finally arrived, he still hadn't responded to Jacques and guilt pooled into his stomach. He was waiting for his delivery to make it up to Simon but that was hardly an excuse since all it could take is one simple email. But his fingers froze every time he tried to type, now he's become a coward even behind the screen. How was he going to deliver this package to Simon if he can't even email him?

Simon's locker, Bram always got to school early so that would be easy to do without being seen. Hopefully, Jacques doesn't hate him...

It's been a week, Simon hasn't texted or called him. So yes maybe he does hate Blue after all. He hasn't even worn the shirt! This is what Bram deserves for being such a coward... A broken heart and lost hope. Maybe it's time he just gave up and come out during college where he'll meet a nice older guy. That seems more realistic than pining after a three-year crush that's still completely oblivious to Bram.
