"Stefan..." Eleanor whispered, approaching him once again near in the Lockwood Mansion. She knew what was going to happen, she had prayed that it wouldn't. But evil had always made its way through, slithering into the cracks and loopholes which ruined what you desired most. And as Eleanor Hemmings' was pulled away, she knew that her punishment was bad enough.
His voice tickled her neck, sent shivers down her spine, and for a moment she couldn't even recognise her reasons of kissing him, "You're not allowed love. You know that."
"Niklaus," She spun around to face him, pressing her silk gloves against his chest, letting her fingertips graze the material of his blazer. Eleanor had once run her hands under his shirt, and let her dark side take over just for him, but now she felt sick to her stomach thinking about those times. "I just need to talk to him, for one second, please, I'm begging you."
"No." He replied, his voice deadpan and his eyes stern on the Salvatore's figure in the distance, who was dancing with a younger woman. Eleanor had to admit she was pretty, but she knew that all Stefan wanted was the Hemmings in his arms - even if it was just for one night.
"I'll do anything." She croaked, tears surrounding the rims of her eyes and coating her eyelashes like mascara. She knew that's what the Mikaelson wanted to hear; to know that she would do whatever it took to be reunited with her long-lost love once again, and so he smiled.
His ice-cold fingers touched her cheek, and she almost flinched away, "Anything, you say?"
"Yes, Niklaus. For some bizarre reason, I believe in true love, and I believe that you are never capable of finding it." Eleanor spat at him, removing his fingertips from her face and looking over her shoulder lovingly at the Salvatore. Her voice shook, "I miss him."
A deep laugh erupted from Klaus' throat, and for a moment she could swear blind that the sound had caught Stefan's attention, but it hadn't. The chuckle rung in her ears like a bell, and his lips found their way closer to her ear.
"You'll do whatever I say, once again, and you can spend a precious night with your dear beloved." Klaus proposed his offer, and Eleanor felt the blood in her veins begin pumping stiffly, sluggishly, and slowly. He was already controlling her life again, telling her what to do and what she shouldn't do. She was already caving in, wanting to just fight against the Hybrid Original until she died, and at least then, she could tell Stefan the truth.
"Okay, okay..." Eleanor hummed, staring at Niklaus' eyes with no emotion, her hands dropping down to her sides. He smirked, the devilish lips which were once on hers continued to repulse her. All she wanted was her freedom, and she deserved it. "Compel me to return to you once this night is over, compel me to feel love for you again - but whatever you compel, just know it's fake and the desire that I have to be with Stefan Salvatore will overcome whatever boundaries you set, and I know it will."
Klaus's grip on her waist tightened and Eleanor gasped in pain and anguish. His eyes looked directly into hers, and he whispered, "You will return to the Mikaelson Mansion at midnight. Once the clock strikes twelve, you will love me once again, and completely, irretrievably, forget your love for the Salvatore."

"Let me guess." Damon's voice paused mid-sentence, thoughts roaming his mind, "Calling to see if the Grim Reaper's paid a visit?" His hand against his phone was shaking, and he refused to accept that he was going to die today. Klaus was dead, and Klaus had once told him that they were strung from his sire line. It was only a matter of time until they found out the truth.
