My Savior Jace Wayland

Chapter 1

Kayla's POV
I'm on my way to the Institute where mom said it was safe. My name is Kayla Rose Lightwood and I'm the twin sister of Alec Lightwood. I have escape from Valentine. I finally made it to the Institute and I saw Alec walking out of the doors. "Kayla.... Kayla is that really you..." "Ya Alec it's really me.." I ran to him and hugged him. "I escaped from Valentine." He looked at me and hugged me again. "Let's get inside." He told me. I nodded and Izzy saw me and she had tears in her eyes. She ran to me and I hugged her as she cried into my shoulder. "It's ok Izzy. I'm ok... I'm not going anywhere ever again."

I saw mom and Max. I ran to mom and hugged her. "My baby is home." She looked at me and smiled. "You look just like your father." I looked at Max. "You were just a baby when I left. Now you've grown so much." I kneeled down in front of him. "My little brother Max is all grown up and I missed it." He hugged me and I smiled. He pulled away from em and I saw Jace. My best friend since we were kids. I ran to him and hugged him and hugged him tightly.  "I'm so glad to see you're alive Kayla." "I'm glad to see you too Jace." I saw dad and cried as I ran to him. "It's ok baby.... it's alright... you're home now."

Alec showed me my room and it was right across the hall from Jace. I was getting out of my soiled clothes and into some fresh clothes that Izzy brought for me. I was getting dressed when I heard a knock at the door.

Jace's POV
I knocked on Kayla's door. "Hey Jace." She said as she opened the door. "Hey..." I walked in and handed her the boots. I gave her one of my leather jackets. She smiled and put it on. "I was about to come after you when Valentine took you." She looked at me. "I know Jace... I was calling for you to come and save me but... it was to late." "How did you escape Valentine?" She sat on the bed next to me.

"It took everything in me to get back to you, mom, dad, Izzy, Max and Alec. Every time he tried to kill me I countered attack him. When I took him down this last time I was able to escape." It was time for our mission. Kayla, Izzy, Alec and I headed out.

Alec's POV
Kayla is doing amazing with the mission. We thought we got all of them but one showed up out of no where and got Kayla. Jace ran over to her and use the healing rune on her. Jace picked her up and we went back to the Institute and took her to the infirmary.

Kayla's POV
I woke up and I looked around the room and I saw Jace sitting next to me asleep. I smiled and stroked his hair. He looked up at me and he smiled at me a little. "I thought I lost you Lightwood." "You will never lose me Wayland." I looked at him and smiled. He smiled too and touched the bracelet with his thumb. "My Savior Jace Wayland."

"By the angel Kayla don't scare us like that again." Alec said coming into the room. I looked at my bracelet Jace gave me. "Jace that bracelet you gave me it's glowing..." Jace looked at the bracelet. "Kayla I think we're soulmates... that's why it's glowing.."

*1 month later*

Jace's POV
Kayla and I have been together for a month now and I love every minute of it. Kayla finally got all of her stuff in my room. Well our room. Kayla was at training with Alec. I went to the training room where Kayla was finishing kicking Alec's ass.

"Ok Kayla that's enough for today." Kayla helped Alec up off the ground and left the training room. "Jace.... what are you doing." I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close to me. "I can't kiss my girlfriend." I smirked. She rolled her eyes and kissed her. "I love you Jace... I don't wanna be away from you again." I looked into her eyes. "I feel the same way Kayla... I love you too." I kissed her again.

Alec's POV
Yuck Jace is kissing my sister again. "Kayla! Mom said dinner is ready!" I went back to the my room to disinfect my eyes.

Kayla's POV
"Kayla! Mom said dinner was ready!" Jace and I pulled away. "Come with me to dinner." He smiles and nods. I grabbed his hand and we went to my parents room for dinner and it turned out great. They were happy for me that Jace and I were finally together.

*After Dinner*

"Jace..." He looked at me as I laid my head on his bare chest. "yes Kayla?" "I was thinking about how our future will turn out... since were soulmates and were together." He look at me and we both sat up and I pulled the blanket up to cover my chest. "What does our future look like?" "Us married with 5 or 6 kids. Living out of the Institute. With a dog or 2 and a white picket fence." "Really a white picket fence." I smiled and nodded. "I like the sound of our future Kayla. But with Valentine alive there's no way we can get out of the Institute." I nodded. "I know Jace. It's just what I saw. Us happy and not having to stay here a lot." He pulls me back down and we started to cuddle again. "If we have a kid before were married..... I'll be ok with that to Jace." He looked and me and smirked and we started kissing again.
