Chapter 6

*5 months later*

Jace's POV
Kayla has been comforting me after I've found out that Valentine was my father. I feel like I'm going to turn on the woman I love. Alec didn't go through with the wedding and he's with Magnus now. Hodge took the mortal cup and I almost killed him. "Jace you're nothing like Valentine." I looked at my beautiful wife and 9 month old son. "Kayla I almost killed Hodge. I am like Valentine."

We all heard a portal open and Valentine walked through. "Jace come with me. I have so much to teach you."

Kayla's POV
"Jace please don't go! We need you!" I gave Jace to Izzy and reached out to Jace before he went with Valentine. "Jace please. The three of us need you." I put his hand on my stomach. I saw the tears in his eyes.

"You're going to be a dad again please don't leave." He kissed me and then Jocelyn came in. But it was to late. Jace was with Valentine.

"Jace! No come back!" I screamed as Alec held me back. "Jace... come back please." I turned and cried into his chest with one hand on my stomach.

*In Kayla's and Jace's room*

I haven't left our room since he went with Valentine. Clary came in and laid on the bed next to me "Kayla we'll find him. I promise we'll bring him home." I sat up and looked at her. "W-we need to get him b-back . Valentine is probably hurting him." Clara pulled me in and held me. "You'll always be my sister Kayla. No matter what happens." I pulled away and smiled at her. "I need to go talk to Alec. We need to make a plan to get Jace back. Clary nods and I went looking for Alec.

*A few weeks later*

I still can't find Jace and Alec is freaking out. I am a month along with our second child and Jace is almost a year old and looking more like Jace everyday. I went to mine and Jace's room and pulled out the box of our pictures in. I shifted through them till I found the picture of us at our wedding reception.

I smiled and I sat it to the side and found a picture of Jace holding our son.

I couldn't help but tear up and I thought about our second child. I didn't hear Alec walking in. "Kayla we will find Jace." I sat the and continued looking through the pictures.

Alec's POV
Kayla continue looking for a certain picture. I helped her and found a picture of me holding Jace.

Kayla looked at it too. Kayla kept looking for that picture of her and Jace when they were teenagers before she was taken by Valentine. Kayla found it and she put the box down and looked at the picture.

She flipped it over and there was a message from Jace in his hand writing on the back. "I'm going to leave with Valentine to protect you our son Clary and Jocelyn. Take care of them for me till you can bring me home. I love you so much baby girl. There's a box under the bed with a present in love Jace."

Kayla got off the bed and grabbed the box and stele and opened it. "It's a dvd."

Kayla's POV
"Why would he give you a dvd?" I thought for a second. "Alec... get my laptop. He must of gotten in touch with Magnus to hide it under our bed." Alec handed me my laptop. I put the dvd in and pressed play. It was Jace hold our son.

"I remember helping him film this." I looked at Alec and the Jace started talking. "Kayla I love you and Jace so much. If I end up leaving with Valentine..." Je looked at Jace. "Take care of our boy. Tell him stories about his father." I started to tear up. "Tell him how I stole mommy's heart. By the angel Kayla I love you and Jace so much. If I don't make it back to you and Jace... try to find love again." He started to cry. "I love all three of you so much."

The dvd ended. "He knew..." I looked at Alec. "He knew I was pregnant Alec." I put my laptop on my pillow and cried into Alec's shoulder. Clary and I went to see Luke at the Jade Wolf. "Luke I can't raise Jace and the new baby without Jace." Looked at me and saw tears in my eyes. "Kayla you are strong. You have to stay strong for Jace, his father Jace and your unborn child. We'll get Jace back." "The Clave wants him dead or alive. He's wanted for high treason."

I saw Jocelyn leave with Clary's phone and stele and Jace's glove. "I be She's tracking Jace. I'm going to go follow her. Let Simon and Clary our at dark." I followed Jocelyn and it was dark. I saw Jace and Valentine. I started to get close enough to talk to him. "Jace..." I know he used the sonic hearing rune. He looked at me and I had the time on myself. "How's you find me?" "You and I have a connection Jace. The baby helped me find you."

I looked at Jocelyn. She aimed an arrow at Jace. "Jocelyn no!" Valentine stood in front of Jace. "I'm sorry." He said to me. "It's ok... we'll find you Jace." They jumped through the portal and Jace was gone.

Hello my Angel. They found Jace and the Jocelyn tried to kill him. What is going on you may ask. Well I would tell you what's going to happen next but.. you'll just have to wait for the next 12 chapters. I am currently writing them as we speak. See you Angels soon.
