Once Clary left for the night I went to Magnus's room to check on Luke one more time. He was sound asleep, so I grabbed the tray with a now empty bowl and places it on the dresser before going back to his side to pull the covers up, so he doesn't get cold. I leave the room and head to the kitchen to finish cleaning when Magnus speaks up. "Come join us nugget the cleaning will still be there for you tomorrow." I look to the two boys Magnus taking the chair that I usually sit in leaving the only spot for me to sit next to Alec. I nod before holding my finger up to show I'll be right back.

I scurry into the kitchen and gently placing the dishes into the sink before turning on the kettle I quickly run into my room and change out of my blood-soaked clothes and into a tank top and comfy shorts for bed I see Titan little butt wiggling from under my bed trying to pull something out from under it. When I pull him and the unknown object I smile at how completely innocent and oblivions he is. Out came a huge stuffed duck that Raphael got for me when I first moved here but Titan seemed to like trying to kill it more. Holding the duck in my arms I walk to the kitchen and full my cup with my tea before heading to the living room with titan bouncing behind me trying to steal the duck from my arms.

I sit next to Alec and throw the duck in the middle of the carpet o I can keep an eye on him while we all talk. I didn't realize I was staring off into my mug for so long until Alec touched my arm gently. "Hey, is everything okay, you seem pretty out of it?" he asks. I look into his hazel eyes that remind me of the colour of the bark on the trees that I have grown so comfortable around. I nod my head softly before I move a bit closer into his touch. I place my hand on his shoulder moving slowly from his shoulder to his hand. Once I have his coloured hand in mine I take a deep breath. Then I pull his hand towards my scar. I close my eyes as I feel his hands gently touching my scar. No one has ever touched my scar since Magnus fixed me up.

As I feel the couch sink lower indicating Alec has moved closer to me as well Magnus speaks up. "Theia left her home 6 months ago; her mom and dad were always away on vacation and business trips. She never really got to know them, and they didn't even try to get the know her. Her school life was no better, worse in fact. When she came home from school most days her clothes were usually ripped, or she had bruises from the kids that would torcher and humiliate her, so she went to the one place she felt safe. There was a quite wood the she remembers her parents taking her to when she was a baby, three hours outside of her hometown. There she had everything she ever wanted and more. A place she built herself, she learned to hut and made herself into one of the best marksmen I have ever known. Even met and helped Titan. I think he is grateful of her and that's why he stays." Magnus starts the story that haunts me.

I tap my chest and lay my head down on Alec's lap. I would never usually do this, but I know that I need to find some way to ground myself and I usually lay on Magnus's lap when he pulls memories out to see. Titan jumps on the couch and curls into a ball on my chest trying to bring me some comfort. I nod my head once and Magnus explains. "So now I am going to go into Theia's mind to take you to the moment when she was attacked. She may move around a bit and her nose may even bleed. This is the best and most accurate way to show you who attacked her. You will see his face just like she did, however in order for this to work you can't touch the Theia you see in her memory. No matter how bad you want to stop the Shadowhunter from hurting her or save the Seelie don't touch anyone you see, not even Titan do you understand?" Alec just nods, and Magnus doesn't seem to like that as enough. "I mean it Alexander we can not intervene in any way or Theia will feel it more. Going into her memory like this means she has to relive it. She will relive the fear she felt then as well as the pain that her attacker caused her as if it is happening to her all over again. Touching her in the memory may bring her back to here to soon and will cause wounds to open."
