Morning Routine

I slowly open my eyes, the sun light forcing me to. Ugh, go away, I just want to sleep! My hands find their way to my eyes, rubbing the sand out of them. The other finds my hair, my fingers brushing through my tangled, dark brown curls. I hate mornings. I slowly stand up, my feet instantly meeting the cold floor. A shiver runs down my spine, causing my whole body to shake. That'll wake me up.

I walk to the bathroom, turning the hot water on then slip off my boxers before hopping into the shower, relaxing against the pounding water on my back. I pick up the soap and wash myself quickly then grab the shampoo, pouring a huge blob of the soap in my hand. I rub my hands together then scrub my head and hair, rinsing it all out after a minute. Once I'm out of the shower, I wrap a towel around my waist until I get to my closet. What to wear.. Maybe just a white and grey striped shirt with my black skinny jeans. Yeah, that sounds good, I haven't worn that in a while. I get dressed then walk downstairs, taking my camera bag on the way.

Hi, my name is Harry Styles. I'm a full time photographer. I own a small shop in my house where I sell some of my own photos, and where I also do family portraits and things like that. My mum and step dad always told me that there was something different about me. I loved to be outside, out seeing the world. Seeing what else was out there. I haven't gotten very far.. My whole life has taken place in London. When I was about seven, I went to Disney World. But of course I couldn't really remember that. I'm 6'2, I have pale, green eyes, and dark brown curly hair. I'm really clumsy, I forget a lot of things, and I'm very random at times.

I finish up my bagel with cream cheese then grab my hat, shoes, and wallet as I head outside. I walk everywhere because the streets are too crowded. There's really not much to see here. Well, for the people who have lived in London their entire life. But for visitors, it's quite lovely. There's mostly just buildings and shops, office buildings, and restaurants everywhere.

I like to take pictures of scenery like.. Little rivers and trees and parks, the busy streets, stuff like that. I smile at the thought of a perfect picture place. There's a little bridge over a river, it was quite high up though. I walk down a small walking trail then down the side of the bank, setting up my camera stand. I place my camera on top of the stand and set it up for the picture. It looks so perfect.. Sometimes these places are so insanely perfect, I don't take the picture. I get caught up in the moment of them, just finding myself lost in a head-space.

I shake the wondrous thoughts out of my mind then wait for just the right moment until I take the picture. My eyebrows furrow when I look at the photo, bringing it close to my face to catch a glimpse of what was on the bridge. Is that.. A boy? That's a boy.. And he's standing on the outer part of the rail.. Wait, hold on. My mind is playing tricks on me. It's at that moment when I hear someone weeping. My head lifts up and I see the guy in my picture. I can't really see his face. Is he trying to jump? He can't possibly be trying to, no one deserves to die.. I quickly run up the trail and over to the middle of bridge where he was standing, then tap his shoulder.

"What are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?" I ask. Wow Harry, captain obvious.

When his head turns, I see the most gorgeous set of blue eyes, staring right back into mine. They're so beautiful.. He has such a unique colour of blue, they're breath-taking. Light blue with a slightly darker blue near his pupil and around the outside of his iris. They seem like they're full of mischief and wonder, but at the same time they look hurt. Tears pour out of the sides of his eyes, making me feel guilty even though I haven't done anything. He has messy brown hair, little pieces and scattered tiny curls every here and there. His skin seems to have a glow to it. He must love tanning or maybe he was just back from vacation. His lips were thin and light pink - they looked rough but soft at the same time. His cheeks were flustered from running, he was panting. His nose is adorable. Kinda pointy, but at the same time it wasn't. A little button nose. Over all, this guy is really cute.

"What the bloody hell does it look like I'm doing?" His voice had a higher pitch to it. It wasn't annoying, but it sounded broken- like he had been sobbing and his voice was almost gone. "Nobody loves me, not even likes me. I'm tired of being used- I'm just a toy! No one would even care if I died, just leave me alone!"

I like you though.. Okay, Harry, think quick. This guy is going to jump if you don't hurry up. I hold my hand out for him and give him a small hopeful smile.

"Would you like to come to the café with me?" I ask softly, waiting for those gorgeous eyes to look back into mine. He seems confused. Poor thing.. I don't know his story but I already feel so bad for him. He's trying to kill himself for gods sake! He swallows hard before turning his head back to look off at the trees.

"W-would I what..? You're joking!" He says, shaking his head. I shake my head and turn his face back to look at me.

"I'm seriously not, love! Come on, let's get you away from there, alright?" I hold my hand out for him, smiling when he takes it. "Good, you trust me. I'm just going to hold onto you so I can pull you in, okay? Don't let me go." I move my hands down to his waist and lift him up and over the rail, tugging him off of the bridge and over to the side of a building. He's gripping onto me.. I feel so proud of myself for doing that. I literally just saved someones life.

"You alright?" I ask the boy, only now seeing how afraid he was. His eyes are wide and he looks like he might break down sobbing. Or throw up. I slowly wrap my arms around him and rub his back as he starts to cry.

"It's okay, you're fine, love.." I soothe, smiling a little as a lady passes, trying to make it seem like he was okay. Which he clearly wasn't.. I move my hands up when he calms down a bit, and wipe his eyes carefully.

"What's your name? I'm Harry Styles." I tell him, trying to change the topic.

"Louis Tomlinson.." He replies slowly. That's a cute name.. It suits him. He looks like a Louis. I nod my head and wrap an arm around him gently, starting to walk. I can come back for my camera and things later, it's not like anyone goes down in a bog. I just want to focus on cheering Louis up. I turn my head and give him a reassuring smile.

"Let's go to that café, yeah? Away from here, that's a good idea."
