Who Are You?

Our walk to the café was quiet. I expected it would be. Louis still seemed traumatized from what had just happened, no doubt about that. I still feel so bad about how upset he looked, it broke my heart. I know I've only met him about 15 minutes ago, but he's so cute! I bet if I got to know him, his personality would be just as beautiful as he is.

"Table for two?" A waitress asks once we're inside the café. She looks like she's in her late sixties, and tries to use makeup to cover up her wrinkles. Ew.

"Erm, yes please." I say with a nod of my head and tug Louis behind me as she leads us to our table. I pull his chair out for him then sit in my own, smiling at him. He seems a little shy.. He doesn't need to be.

"So, Louis.. Who are you?" I ask him. His face scrunches up in confusion and I can't help but chuckle.

"Who am I?" He repeats. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, who are you? You're Louis Tomlinson. Tell me about yourself, tell me about who you are." I say, smiling a little more than before. Louis thinks for a minute then clears his throat before speaking in a quiet tone.

"I'm Louis Tomlinson, I play football for the Doncaster Rovers, I have four younger sisters, my favourite colour is red or probably blue, I love watching football with my mates, I've dated a lot of guys and they've all treated me like shit, I don't understand what I did wrong.. I was kicked off of the Rover's team because I apparently had a bad reputation and now I have nothing. I'm just a stuck up boy toy. There, that's who I am." His dry eyes fill with tears again and I can't help myself from not doing anything. I lean over the table a little and wipe his eyes, forcing a small smile on my lips.

"Hey.. It's okay, alright? I doubt you did anything wrong. They're the jerks for treating you like shit. You seem like a lovely person and you deserve much more than that." I say softly and lean back in my seat. He looks at me for a minute then nods the slightest bit.

"You're different.. A good kind of different but, you don't seem like any of the other guys I've dated. I-I don't mean like, I um, want to date you or anything, well I wouldn't mind but, y-you uhm.." Louis stutters. A small blush appears on my face as I start to grin, pushing my hair back a little. "I'm sorry, I've just made a fool of myself now."

"You didn't make a fool of yourself, love. I wouldn't mind if we um.. Dated. I haven't gone out with anyone before though, so I'd probably be very bad at relationshipping." I say, moving a hand to the back of my neck to awkwardly scratch it. He laughs a little and for the first time, I see him smile. It's so adorable..

"Relationshipping? Is that even a word?" Louis asks. I shrug my shoulders and look up at him through my eyelashes. "Well, it is now."

I roll my eyes at his statement and smile. He seems so genuine, a little bit sarcastic and mischievous. I like it though.

"Alright, so.. would you like to try relationshipping with me?" I ask, holding my hand out across the table. He looks at it, probably thinking, then takes it in mine, linking our fingers together before giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I would love to, Harry."
