Jason POV (*cough cough cough choke choke*) :
The best part of a magic ally is the magic. Obviously.
I mean, they have broomstick that can actually fly! (Tom nearly gave Percy a heart attack when he learned that you can play a sport on them)
Tom seemed nice enough. He gave us advice on the alley and all in his accent that Leo kept imitating. Annoying.
When we first got settled in, we just wondered around. At night, though, Annabeth scolded the heck out of us and told us to go to a wand shop and buy some wands.
Ollivander, the guy who worked there, looked scared. I mean, we all are, but the guy seemed to have been tortured and with his age I'm surprised he didn't die. He gave us 7 Wands that Chiron has given us.
Percy's was 12 1/2 inches Cedar with a Phoenix feather core
Mine was 11 3/4 inches Ebony and a Unicorn core.
Frank's was 14 1/4inches Blackthorn with a Dragon heartstring as the core.
And Leo's was 13 3/4 inches Dogwood with a Phoenix feather as well.
The girl's wands are with us, but to be on the safe side, we aren't going to risk Annabeth getting mad at us for touching them.
Percy would stare off into space every once in a while, and would spend a ton of time just talking to Annabeth. Leo tried to contact Calypso, but American time is so different from British.
On night 2, Percy got a nightmare. It wasn't the worst, but he was muttering and shaking and sweating and all. We called Annabeth, who was able to wake him up correctly. At 3 am, might I add.
Then they talked for like half an hour.
Typical.
We kept waiting for the day to roll around. Hogwarts.
On day 4 Annabeth told us that the Weasleys were long to come for school supplies shopping the next day. . I mean, duh, how did I forget about that?!
And finally, after a forest fire called Leo and Hurricane named Percy, day 5 arrived.
AN: lol. I did it! YAAAAY!
Honestly I'm going to have some fun with the next chapter, so it is going to be longer than 350 words, I promise.
How's everyone been holding up considering the fact that it's August and school starts soon?
I've been in denial.
