I'm baaaaack
Dedicated to TheKinkyMood because she told me to get my lazy butt up and start updating this story (ok, she was nice about it, but that's how I interpreted it)
Also dedicated to Danni_Stark because she said the same thing basically but also in a nice way.
and a bunch more people. yeah. im sorry. theres a list like look at the comment section of chapter 9 im not joking.
Hazel POV
The burrow is such a nice place, except for one thing.
The boys are missing.
I feel uneasy without Jason's orders and Percy's presence and Leo's jokes and Frank's Frankness. I also miss Nico; what's he doing?
Not like I'll even know what's going on in that brother of mine's head. He doesn't believe in verbal communication. Which is quite unfortunate because, that's how I roll.
Piper and Annabeth have also agreed on something- the red-head Weasley girl does NOT like us.
Her name is Ginny and she doesn't trust us.
Even her boyfriend smiles and waves and chats, but she must silently glare at us and only smile when her mother is looking.
Rude, if you ask me.
It's also very uncomfortable when I'm in a conversation with Arthur, as he insists we call him. He knows about the demigod deal, but he doesn't know that I died and came back to life just like precious Harry Potter. So he just assumes that I can tell him about modern day mortal inventions.
I don't even know what a chicken nugget is.
Annabeth has saved me so many times, answering Arthur while I shove food in my mouth. Then I just say "mhm" and continue eating.
Because I can't pretend like I understand this generation.
So when we leave for the Hog-warts Express, I'm surprised to see her act nice and kiss her mother's cheek.
She actually reminds me of Nico. Which is strange, but she does.
The train station is big and busy. We were looking for the platform "9 3/4" since the wizards kinda left us behind. They started running and disappeared.
And then I noticed a huge portal. Huge. I wonder how the others weren't seeing this, because the other side was a big train station where people with owls were hanging out.
Only wizards have owls.
"Over there," I point. "It's the portal."
Piper stares at me like I have 3 heads. "That's a brick wall."
It dawned on me. It was being covered by the mist. I doubt it's exactly the same, but it was some form of the mist.
"It's being covered by the mist. Just trust me on this one." I turn and run towards the portal.
I've entered the hidden place, and almost get run over by a cart. Wizards are so rude sometimes. Not even a sorry; just a disgusted turn of the nose as if it was my fault.
Piper and Annabeth follow behind me, clearly only because of my disappearance.
The platform is very big, busy, and radiates magic. A big red train is pulled up, and students are climbing aboard. Some were wearing normal clothes, others robes similar to the ones that we bought. I noticed the youngest looking ones had no crest on their robes, but the older ones had one of four different ones.
"I guess we climb aboard," said Piper after a while.
We climb aboard the big train, and immediately Annabeth is looking for Percy. Those two are like magnets. It's like they always find a way to be together.
After awkwardly opening doors for nearly 5 minutes, we spot Leo.
"Leo!!!!!!!!!!!!" I attack him.
"Hey Haze!" he says because adding on an extra "l" is too much work.
"Where are the others?" I ask after Piper and Annabeth hug him as well.
"We're in a VIP compartment- I thought you knew that?" Annabeth looked ashamed.
"Well, whatever. Take us there." Piper accidentally used charmspeak, so Leo was forced to go.
We walked through the train, ignoring the many stares we got from British and Scottish and Irish kids, clearly wondering who we were.
Demigods, you mortals.
And then there they were, in the compartment. The boys, and Frank, who looked like a puppy - not a real one just.... with his facial expressions. And oh my gods and goddesses am I happy to see him.
He gives me a hug and I don't wanna let go.
Percy and Annabeth are hugging, which is nice because last time I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be watching them.
It's all nice and sweet until Hermione pops her head into our compartment and asks us "So what Hogwarts house do you think you'll be in?!"
5 months. I suck. Lol.
Thank you for 2k!!!!
