Tomb vs Rejects; Volume 1 Finale

At the Rejects base, almost everyone is in the infirmary except Mike and Jacob. Crystal helps puts Mary's left arm in a sling.
Mary: *sighs* Great. First mission as a hero and I get hurt.
Crystal: Expect more of this. You aren't invincible you know.
Mary: Still, thought this would be easy.
Nelson: How does putting your life before others sound easy?
Jess: Ease off Nelson, we've all just got our asses kicked.
Mike: And we're gonna get some payback.
Mike walks into the room holding a laptop.
Toby: How?
Mike: Since we've only have six able bodies, surprisingly most of us except Mary survived our fight with Tomb the first time.
Crystal: Yeah, almost like it was essential to the plot for you, Jacob, Nelson, and Jess to not be critically hurt.
Mike: Crystal, leave the sarcastic 4th wall jokes to me.
Crystal: Is it really breaking the fourth wall if we're in the real world?
Mike: .... Good point. Anyways thanks to Code, we know that Tomb is still at his penthouse, probably thinking we're either dead or severely injured. That'll be our chance to strike. Me, Crystal, Jess, Nelson, and Jacob will go to his penthouse and attack.
Golem: Why no me?
Mike: Cause I need someone who's not injured here to protect Mary and Toby.
Toby: No, I'm coming with.
Mike: Toby, you can't. I appreciate that you want to help but you still can't stand up. I can't be out there worrying about if my bestfriend is capable of even driving. I'm sorry Toby, but you need to stay put for this one.
Toby: *sighs* Fine.
Mike: Good, now where's Jacob?
Jacob: Right here.
Everyone looks to see Jacob in a black Iron Man suit and a black helmet with a full face black visor.
Mike: Nice new suit.
Jacob: The old one was to heavy. I'm a skinny dude y'know.
Mike: I know.
Jacob: Also pretty sure Bishop brought both you and Jess new suits.
Mike: Really?
Nelson: No new suit for me?
Jacob: Sorry.
Nelson: It's a joke Jacob. I'm good.
Mike: Alright then. We got basically one shot at taking down Tomb. We don't leave that building until Tomb is taking down and is in custody, understood?
Everyone: Yeah!!
Mike: K then. Rejects, it's time to ride!!!

(Tomb's penthouse)

Dr.Skin: Sir, I've just got news that a new shipment for the ingredients we need will be here shortly.
Tomb: Excellent. Soon, I'll get a new batch of Metas and will have my own-
Just then a beeping noise can be heard. Tomb presses a button on his desk and a screen slides up. Tomb sees Jacob and Crystal taking out guards. A man wearing a red and black jacket, a red hood, black shirt, black jeans with a red stripe, black boots, black and red fingerless gloves, and a red Robin mask looks at the camera and smirks. He throws a metal stick at the camera, destroying it. Tomb slams his hand on the desk.
Dr.Skin: Who was that?
Tomb: That was Mike. He and his original group of selfless do gooders are coming this way.
Dr.Skin: Then shouldn't we be leaving?
Tomb: You go doctor. I'll deal with these pests once and for all.
Dr.Skin: ... Yes boss.
Dr.Skin amd a couple of goons pull a lever and leave through a secret exit. Just then the door gets blasted off its hinges. Mike, Crystal, Nelson, Jacob, and Jess wearing purple goggles, red jacket, black shirt, purple and black fingerless gloves, black jeans, and black boots walk into the office.
Tomb: I see you survived.
Mike: Yeah. Quick question, what can you do?
Tomb: I hav superstrength and extreme durability. Knives, energy blasts and sharp claws and teeth can't hurt me.
Mike: Pretty sure diamond can.
On cue, Crystal summons her diamond katana. Tomb takes off his jacket and shirt. He then cracks his neck and smiles.
Tomb: Last time I almost killed your friends. Now you're in my home and have less members. What makes you think now you can stop me?
Mike: Like a good vide game once said "I'm filled with determination".
Tomb: Also extreme optimism.
Mike: I try. Take him.
Nelson snarls his teeth and runs at Tomb. Tomb lifts his desk and throws it straight at Nelson, making him stumbe backwards. Tomb then throws a punch and sends Nelson flying into a wall. Crystal fires a few shards at Tomb but they all just bounce off his chest.
Tomb: Told you, they don't hurt me.
Tomb starts charging towards Crystal but is then blasted into a bookshelf by Jacob.
Jacob: Jeez, how were you so tough last time?
Tomb: Because I riled you up. Turned you against each other. Mostly you and Jess.
Jacob: And how did you do that?
Tomb: Madeline.
Jacob clenches his fist.
Jacob: Don't you dare say her name.
Tomb: Same as last time. I mention her and you go off the rails. No wait, you go off the rails when I mention that I can just put one finger on-
Jacob: SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!!!!
Jacob fires a blast of energy at Tomb but Tomb ducks and runs straight at Jacob and grabs him. Crystal instantly charges at Tomb and Mike charges towards Tomb on the otherside. Tomb throws Jacob at Crystal and kicks Mike into a wall. Tomb then feels himself being lifted off the ground.
Tomb: Didn't work last time Jess, what makes you think it'll work this time?
Jess has her hands up, lifting Tomb off the ground. Jess then throws Tomb into a wall. Jess falls to the ground with her nose bleeding. Mike runs towards her.
Mike: Why are you bleeding?
Jess: I tried controlling his mind again. Should've learned that the first time.
Tomb: Yes, you should've.
Tomb steps out of the hole in the wall.
Tomb: This is just embarrassing. You can't hurt me. You might as well-
Just then, a gunshot could be heard. Tomb grabs his shoulder as blood starts dripping down his arm. Mike holds the smoking gun.
Mike: You said knives couldn't hurt you. Had a theory a gun could do the trick.
Tomb: Thought you don't kill?
Mike: I don't. And I wouldn't usually use guns but you're an exception. NELSON NOW!!!
Nelson grabs Tomb and holds him.
Mike: Jess, help Nelson.
Jess's eyes glow purple and she uses her telekinesis to make sure Tomb doesnt get free.
Mike: CRYSTAL, STAB HIM IN HIS WOUND!!!
Crystal stabs a diamond dagger into the bullet wound. Nelson lets go of Tomb as Tomb falls to the ground in pain.
Mike: Should probably quit now.
Tomb starts laughing maniacally.
Jacob: Why's he laughing? I didn't make a joke yet.
Tomb grabs Mike by the shirt.
Tomb: I'll never quit.
Tomb brings Mike closer and holds him against the window.
Tomb: Do it and I'll throw him out!!!
Mike: DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!!! I'M IMMORTAL!!!
Tomb: Skin is down there and he'll make sure you won't be.
The team stands there, wondering what they should do when Mike grabs Tomb and starts making sure he can't let go.
Mike: JACOB BLAST US NOW!!!!
Jacob charges and fires at Mike and Tomb, sending them flying out the window.
Jess: We gotta get down there.
Jess and the others run downstairs.

(Outside)

Mike opens his eyes to see that he landed on a car. People surround him.
Civilain1: You ok?
Civilain2: Is that Immortal?
Mike: I'm fi-
Mike then sees Tomb stand up.
Mike: EVERYBODY RUN NOW!!!
Tomb grabs a little girl and holds her by the throat.
Tomb: I'll snap her neck Immortal. You will let me walk away and-
Tomb then hears a sound of a gun cocking.
Bishop: You are under arrest Tomb.
Tomb turns around to see Bishop amd Detective Judge pointing both there guns at Tomb.
Tomb: Heh, your guns won't work on-
Bishop: The Rejects already told me that guns do work on you. So let the girl go, and surrender.
Tomb grits his teeth and lets the girl go. Judge then arrests Tomb and puts him in a S.W.A.T car. Bishop walks up to Mike as the others arrive. Jess hugs Mike.
Jess: Don't you ever scare me like that again.
Mike: I'll try. Sorry.
Bishop: Congrats on catching your first main villain. You've done well.
Mike: Thanks. And thanks for the new suits.
Bishop: Hey, we're partners. You help me and I help you.
Mike: Well, we'll see you around.
The five run into an alley way and a few seconds later the RejectVan drives out of the alley and drives down the street.

(Later that day)

Tomb sits in the back of the S.W.A.T truck with three S.W.A.T guys sitting around him when the truck stops.
Swat1: Hey, why'd we stop?
Jusy then the back doora open and a skinny guy with long brown curly hair wearing a black trench coat, black shirt, black jeans, and black boots. Next to him is a Hulk like monster except his skin is pitch black and he's wearing blue ripped jeans. Next to him is a man wearing a black jacket with a hood, red shirt, black sunglasses, black jeans, and black boots. Next to him is a girl with punk like blonde hair, black leather vest, blue t-shirt, black ripped jeans, and blue boots. Next to her is a tall skinny black man with short black hair, yellow lensed sunglasses, yellow sleeveless jacket, black shirt, black jeans, and black boots. The S.W.A.T guys point there guns at the five Metas.
???: Put the guns down and sit quietly.
The S.W.A.T guys does as the voice said. A man wearing a white suit with a purple tie sits down, his face covered in darkness.
Tomb: You. What do you want?
???: To be an asshole. In all seriousness, here to laugh at how you got captured by a bunch of teens.
Tomb: They're tough. You won't beat them easily.
???: Well, you know me old friend. I don't like to get my hands dirty. So it will be easy to beat them since they'll be the ones hurting each other.
The man gets up and walks towards the back doors and then he stops.
???: What's the girl who has telepathy's name?
Tomb: Jessica.
The man smirks sadistically.
???: What a beautiful name. She'll be mine amd with her powers I'll be able to control countless people.
The man steps off the truck.
???: Goodbye Joshua. Have fun in prison.
Tomb: Fuck you.
???: Guard close the door and driver continue to your current destination.
The guard closes the door and the driver of the truck starts driving. The man smiles.
???: Soon The Rejects won't know what them, until I get Jess and they become my slaves. Hehehehehehehahahahahahahaha!!!
