The news of Felix coming to South Korea wouldn't leave Changbin's mind for even a single second. He didn't mind, though.
It turned out that the other's family lived in Seoul and that their house was only a 15-minute-walk away from where Changbin was living. Changbin lived with his friend, Minho, since he wanted to live alone after telling his family that he was gay. His parents were quite supportive, but almost everyone else in his family wasn't and he didn't want to see them all the time (they were visiting often). His parents and him talked and met up regularly and they even helped him to pay his bills. Minho, on the other hand, was already 18 and allowed Changbin to live with him.
Felix and Changbin wanted to meet up for sure, maybe even spend New Year's Eve together, but Felix still tried to convince his parents. It was only November, but he would ask them every day if he could visit Changbin. He had asked them for the past week, and it seemed to Felix that his mom slowly became curious about her son's friend from Seoul.
Minho, on the other hand, was easier to persuade. Changbin just asked him if he could have a friend over on New Year's Eve and a few days before, and Minho agreed. Well, he wanted chocolate from Changbin, but that wasn't much of an effort since Changbin always had a few chocolate bars stored in his room. Minho even said that Felix could sleep over if he wanted to.
Another few days later, Felix called Changbin again.
"My parents agreed, but they want to meet you before I stay over on New Year's Eve."
Changbin didn't think at all before replying, he could only think of one word after the first three words Felix had spoken:
"Sure."
Felix chuckled a bit. Changbin smiled widely.
"Also, I put my phone on speaker, they can hear you."
Changbin blushed.
