Leon holds her hand and she got startled. He asks, "You okay?"
"Yeah."
"Thought you will be happy."
"I'm happy."
(No, I'm heart broken, Leon. I thought I would be happy again if I crushed his life. Like he did to mine. Seeing he lost everything. It broke my heart).
Mandy is lost in thought.
Leon sighs. This revenge thing doesn't end well. She looks devastated. And to think that guy would tear apart $30,000 worth contract. Leon is ready to do negotiation with him. Probably settled the contract around $50k or more.
Love turned a guy into a fool. Leon shakes his head. He better let him off the hook. Mandy won't be happy if he ruined the guy's life completely.
But Leon swears he would never let Evan Hawke ruined Mandy's life again. He better stay away from her.

It has been one year.
Mandy has finally settled down in a cheap apartment outskirt of New York. It's in a good neighborhood. She could get into campus in just one ride with train. Life has been going upward for her.
Thanks to the bad publicity in the net, a director contacted her for a small role in a mini series drama show. From there, she got few other roles.
Last month, she got selected as the best support female actress. A milestone for her.
She still wants to be a doctor. But she couldn't rely on the Bowens forever. At least she's going to repay her education fees to them. In her own terms.
Back in the beach again. The place filled with sweet bitter memories. The same place she first met Evan Hawke and said her final goodbye to him.
Mandy has dated few other guys after her bitter ending with Hawke. But no one could make her heart warm up like him. Not even close.
It has been one year. And she still couldn't forget him.
