Chapter 2 Masquerade Ball

Hey guys, Author here. Welcome back to a new chapter of Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

Oof it's been a while. I've been having trouble with writer's block, and if you read my other stories, you would know.

Harem list: Runo, Julie, Alice, Jenny, Jewls, and Chan Lee (Maybe).

That should cover that. I think.

Anyway, time to give this a shot. Gonna freestyle it, for the most part, and go off of what I remember. Which at this point is little to none. It's been a hot minute since I last watched Bakugan.

Well, Anyway. Without further adieu, Let's get to it.

I know this is gonna sound weird, but one day, my whole word changed. Ya see, these cards started falling from the sky. Comin' down like rain. At first we didn't know where they were all coming from, or who sent them. We only knew that they were more than just ordinary playing cards. And it was happening all around the world. In the north, in the south. They landed everywhere.

Together with my knew online friends from around the world, we invented a wicked new game called Bakugan. That's when the power of the cards was revealed. Each one held its own battling beast which came alive when you threw it down. Battles were intense and if chose the wrong card, you lost along with the beast inside.

But that's only half the story, another even bigger battle was taking place in a parallel universe called Vestroia.

My name is Y/n. And together with my friends Dan, Runo, Marucho, Julie, not to mention mister hot shot himself Shun, and Alice, we are the Bakugan Battle Brawlers!

The Next Day... Y/n POV

I walk into the classroom and see Dan showing off Drago. It's been a day since that battle with Shuji and when we heard Drago talk. No matter how much Dan tries, he can't get Drago to do much of anything. I sigh and walk up next to him.

"Having trouble there man?" I ask.

"Yeah, I can't get Drago to talk." Dan says.

"Y/n, you're back?" I hear from the crowd around us.

"Yeah he's back!" Dan says, excited. "And he was there when Drago talked."

"Did it really?" I hear a guy ask.

"Yeah. I heard the voice too. It was kinda weird." I say.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

They all look in awe at Drago. Then someone says something about homework and Dan freaks out. He bumps into me and I stumble a little and fall back into a desk. I catch myself on it and pop back up using only my arms. Dan spins his head to see if I'm alright.

"Jeez ya spaz. Cool your jets a bit wouldja?" I joke.

He goes back to searching for help with his homework and I take a seat in the desk next to his. I look over at Drago, who was sitting on Dan's desk.

"Hey, Drago. I know you can talk and at least hear me right now. So, I want to say welcome to the town and please take care of Dan. He can be a bit of a handful." I whisper over to him.

Of course I get nothing in response, but it was at least worth mentioning. I look forward and see Dan rushing around to get his homework done. I see some girls in a group in the corner. From what it looks like, they are trying to convince one of them to do something. I just look back to the front and stretch as I yawn.
