"girls, we're leaving in 10" henry shouted from the downstairs portion of his apartment
"shit" elise said quickly looking for her earrings and jewelry to wear for the night
"i've literally been ready since 5:00, it's currently 6:50, el" corey said laughing at her best friend
"shut up and help me find my other shoe" elise responded quickly, looking in every possible place for her shoe
"did you check the closet" corey stated looking up from her open computer
"no..." elise replied, looking in the closet door
corey chuckles as elise moves away from the closet holding her other shoe in her hand
corey shut her computer, grabbing her silver rings and placing them on her middle and ring finger
"you're actually stupid, but i still love you" corey said opening the girls shared room, letting elise out of the room then closing the door back
"yeah yeah yeah, love you most" elise responded, jogging down the stairs

"are we close?" corey asked from the backseat of the car, placing her phone in her small clutch purse
"yeah, it's just around this corner" henry said, clicking on the left turn signal
as the turn signal blinked, elise gained more nerves, she was terrified,
what if they don't like me
is all she could think, and little did she know, her best friend was thinking the same thing
henry turned the car and elise blinked a few times letting reality sink in, she smiled, looking back at her best friend as the car stopped in a parking lot
corey smiled back, stepping out of the car, fixing the collar of her dress
henry came to elise's side, opening the door for his younger sister
"thank you henry" elise said lightly as she got out of the car, collecting her clutch in her hand
henry laughed "no problem, el" shutting the door back and fixing his tie
"damn, this place is nice" corey said running a hand through her loosely curled hair
henry laughed, opening the door to the restaurant, corey and elise gave each other an encouraging look, walking into the restaurant nervously
the restaurant was empty except for the large group of friendly actors elise had always looked up to
corey was right in front of elise, stepping inside the restaurant to be greeted by a large group of individuals
"you must be corey?"
elise stepped next to corey, fixing her dress and quickly being engulfed into a hug by natalia dyer herself
