(5) The Land Of TIME

I'm SO confused- This chapter completely disappeared earlier, so I went around trying to see what was going on for like, 20 minutes, then when I came back, this chapter was back, but it was duplicated? Idek....But, enjoy the chapter, I guess?                  
                          Nick's POV
       "Who all should go...?" Jon asked. Duni and DDawn glanced at each other, "Well, I believe we'll have to travel there for one, because we know  much more about the Land Of TIME." Duni said. "Bring the dog." Dick suddenly said. DDawn looked at him, "Vhy would we bring ZHAT mutt?" He asked. Dick narrowed his eyes at him, "You know very well that a dogs senses can be extremely useful in the Land Of TIME." Dick said, "I bet you that it will come in handy." He added. DDawn sighed, "I suppose ve will be bringing ze mutt zhen.."

       "And all the cannon beings must come aswell." Duni stated, "So that means Uni, Cory, Tommy, Nick, Jon, Ashlie, Bri, and Dawn." Duni said. DDawn looked over everyone, "Ve will also take ze ghost. He could be of use." DDawn said, then glanced at Duni, "Anyone else?" He asked him. Duni thought for a moment, "Ash and Thomas. Ash is a good fighter, and Thomas is good with bombs." Duni said. "You're sticking us on this mission with 2 Tommy's!?" Uni and Cory said in unison. DDawn smirked, "And, finally, Don." He said. Don looked up, suprised, "Why me!?"

      DDawn chuckled, "Everyone needs a good meat shield." He said, and Don sighed, shaking his head. "Um...I have a question..." Bri said shyly. Duni looked at her, "Yes?" He asked. "Can I stay here....?" She questioned, "I mean, someone has to watch these guys.." She said, gesturing to the other Multiverse members. Duni looked at DDawn, as if wondering. DDawn looked around, "I suppose zhat since you don't ave a counterpart, you can stay." He answered. Bri smiled, and Cory looked over at her, seeming worried. "Are you sure you're okay here alone with them...?" He asked.

       Bri walked over to him, grabbing his hands and smiling at him. "Oh course." She said, kissing him for a moment, then pulling away. Cory stepped away from Bri, and narrowed his eyes at the remaining Multiverse characters. "If I hear that any of you freaks even TOUCH Bri, I'll hunt you down and end you myself!" He snapped. Dashlie rolled her eyes, "Pft, whatever." She huffed.  Cory sighed, and looked at Duni and DDawn, "How exactly do we get to the Land Of TIME?" Cory asked. "Lucky for us, I know how to open a portal to the beggining of the Land." Duni said simply.

       "Everyone, look towards the wall, and prepare to run through." Duni said, turning around to face the large wall behind us. We all did the same, "Run through the wall..?" Don. questioned. DDawn sighed loudly, "No, you idiot! Through ze portal!" He snapped, and Don shrugged. Duni held his hand out towards the wall, shut his eyes, and began to speak. "By the power invested in me, I ask you open a portal to TIME, so that we may fix this mess, and return things to their original order." When he finished, there was a moment of silence, then it happened...

        An eerie wind blew through the room, and in front of us, a glowing brown circle formed on the wall, and it began expanding, growing into a large oval. Duni glanced at us, "Go through!" He ordered, "I'm not sure how long I can hold this!" He said, seeming to be concentrating. Nobody moved, so Don sighed, and ran into the portal, dissapearing. "I can't believe we're trusting these guys.." Uni mumbled as everyone began jumping into the portal. When it was just DDawn, Duni, and I, I hesitantly approached the portal, not trusting it. "Hurry you idiot!" DDawn growled, and I felt myself get shoved into the portal, then everything went black.

        "Nick....Can you hear me...?" I heard a distant-sounding voice question. I felt a painful headache form in my head. I groaned, shifting slightly, "Nick, are you awake?" They asked again, but this time, I could tell it was Ashlie's voice. I slowly opened my eyes, blinking a few times. My vision cleared up, and I saw Ashlie looking down at me from her spot beside me on the ground. I sat up, putting a hand up to rub my head, my eyes closed. "What happened...?" I questioned.

       Ashlie sighed, "DDawn pushed to into the portal, so when you came out the other side, you hit your head." She explained bitterly. I sighed, "I really hate that guy...." I growled. "I do too.." Ashlie agreed. Then, I became aware of two familiar voices arguing near us. One was unmistakably DDawn, but the other sounded like Dick's, which confused me. I thought he wasn't coming... I thought as I opened my eyes and looked in the direction oif the two. And too my suprise, there stood DDawn and Dick, in a fierce argument.

        "Told you not to come you idiot!" DDawn growled. "How many times must I tell you, DASHLIE. PUSHED. ME!" Dick argued back. "Vhatever! If ve die because of you, I'll kill you in Hell!" DDawn snarled back. Dick sighed, crossing his arms and turning around, "Whatever..." He growled, walking away from the angry male. I looked around, seeing that we were in  a forest, but it seemed grayer and browner than usual forests. I also noticed that the others were sitting around, talking quietly to each other, while Uni was farther away from them.

      He was leaning over a bush, as if he'd been hurling, and Duni stood nearby, watching him, as if assuring he was okay. Ashlie followed my gaze, "Yeah...I guess Uni doesn't do too well with traveling through portals." Ashlie said, "I guess he's more like his hardcore quest self than we thought." I joked. Ashlie laughed, "I guess so." After a few minutes, Duni walked back to the big group, Uni walking slowly behind him. "We should get going. It's not smart to stay in one place very long, here." Duni said, and the others made it to their feet, and Ashlie helped me do the same. "Something might find us, and everything here is stronger than us, so we don't want that to happen." Duni added.
