"Hey everyone." I smiled at the camera, waving. "So yesterday part two of Shane's Jake Paul series came out, and by the time I post it, prolly 3 days after. I know some of you weren't thrilled with the way part two came out, and I also know that Shane's already explained some of it, but I just wanted to give you guys part of my perspective that Shane is too nice to say." I readjusted the way I was sitting before I started to speak again. "We, as in Shane, Andrew, and I, never had intentions of making it come off the way it did. It seemed scary, because to us it was scary. Between the three of us, we thought it was scary to imagine never really feeling anything, and having to fake emotions to come across a certain way. Like I can't even imagine. Also, we were focusing on the full on sociopath, we in no way said everyone on the ASPD spectrum was a sociopath." I tried to figure out how to word the next part of the video. "We were not diagnosing Jake Paul as a sociopath either. Shane, Andrew, and I are in no place to say that. We knew that a lot of people had claimed sociopath when talking about Jake Paul. Even after meeting Jake Paul and having off camera interactions with him I still don't know if he is a sociopath or not. Because I am not a professional. So. Thank you for watching the series. I am so proud of it. And I'm so thrilled that Shane and Andrew trusted me enough to help them make it and edit it. Please continue to watch with an open mind, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. Bye everyone."
I turned off the camera, and picked up my phone, I had a missed call from Shane, so I called him back.
"Ken, are you okay." He asked when I said hello.
"Yeah why?" I replied, going downstairs.
"You just didn't answer and you're always on your phone." I rolled my eyes as he continued talking. "Anyway, what do you want for dinner?"
"I don't care." I answered.
"Ryland said make sure you do your school for today." Shane added, and I nodded, going to the office to grab the laptop.
"When will you be home?" I asked.
"About an hour." Shane said in a questioning tone.
"Okay, I'm gonna go do my school. Love you."
"Love you too Kendra, bye."
I turned on music on my phone, trying to sit and work, but no song was settling right with me. I finally turned to the playlist that I had made, but never listened to. It was all sad songs, that I loved making playlist of, but hated listening to.
Those songs seemed to settle right as I tried my best to take a math test. I was suddenly distracted by the songs, but tried to focus.
I clicked submit on the test, hardly reading the questions, and ending up with a C on the test. I finished my English vocabulary, and read a chapter of the book.
back when i was a child
before life removed all the innocence
my father would lift me high
and dance with my mother and me
and then spin me around till i fell asleep
then up the stairs he would carry me
and i knew for sure i was loved
if i could get another chance another walk
another dance with him
i'd play a song that would never ever end
how i'd love love love to dance with my father again
I began crying without noticing it, but when I did notice, I put the laptop to the side, and wrapped my self up in a blanket, just wanting to be sad at the moment.
if i could steal one final glance
one final step
one final dance with him
i'd play a song that would never ever end
cause i'd love love love to dance with my father again
every night i fall asleep, and this is all i ever dream
"Ken?" I heard Ryland, and quickly sat up and wiped my eyes. "What happened?" He sat down next to me, and hugged me so tight I had no choice but to let my head fall on his chest.
"Nothing, I'm just doing homework." I answered, but another song deceived my answer.
"Don't do this to yourself." He picked up my phone and paused the music.
"Kendra, I got you fries because I didn't know how hungry you were, but I can go get you something else if your'e still hungry." Shane came into the room, and looked at the sight in front of him. "What is happening. Ken are you okay."
"Yes." I groaned, picking up the laptop.
"No you were crying. Your eyes are red."
"I'm fine." I promised, leaning out of Ryland, and laying back on the couch.
My phone dinged, signaling a text, and Ryland picked it up before I could reach for it.
"Can I see it, Ry?" I reached for it, but he leaned away with it.
"It's Zack." He said, confused.
"So?" I replied, when he finally gave me the phone.
"I thought you didn't talk to him anymore." I shrugged, replying to the text which was just 'hey what have you been up to? miss you!'
"I mean it's just harder to talk since we don't go to the same school." I heard Shane whisper to Ryland that it was fine and to let me be. "I'm going to sleep."
"Good night, love you." Ryland slid into my spot when I stood up, cuddling next to Shane.
"Love you too." I took the laptop, and my phone, throwing the blanket on top of them.
"Hold on it's Morgan, stay down here for a second." Ryland said as his phone rang.
Long story short, Morgan moved out and had no idea how to exist.
"Hey, Morgan." I waved. "Good night now."
"Night Kendra, I love you." Shane yelled after me.
"Love you." I yelled back, shutting my bedroom door behind me.
I began editing the video I had made earlier, adding clips from the parts of the series that was out, and adding light music in the backround.
After about an hour of editing, I clicked the upload button, and fell asleep.
