Bayley's POV:

Today was... Unpleasant.

Oh, who am I kidding?! That's an understatement!

It was absolutely stressful, horrible–all the names that are similar to irritating or annoying, and here's why: I worked at a place called "Butterfly Maid Café" where the hosts and the servers dress up as maids!

Fucking. MAIDS!!!

I absolutely despise working there, mainly because the girls have to wear skimpy maid outfits, but it gives me some cash, so I had to deal with it. While I was working there, these men, three of them, were cat-call the girls while they're working.

Me mostly.

At one point, I punched one of them for what they had done: You see, they had "dropped" their drink on the ground, so I had to clean it up(since I was their server) and when I bent over and started to clean it...

One of them lifted my skirt, exposing my black, lacy undergarments.

"Such a naughty girl." One of the guys had said. I could hear the smirk in their voice, but it soon turned into a shriek when I turned around and left-hooked that bastard in the jaw! His friends jumped out of their seats and ran to his aid, seeing the bruise already forming on his cheek. "Do that again and your nose is next." I hissed, glaring daggers at them as they grabbed him and ran out of the Café. I felt myself grin victoriously and turned around to continue on with my work...

... Only to see my manager, Mitsuki Kayaba.

"Miss Summersell, See me in my office. Now."

Needless to say, I have been fired because I had assaulted a customer.

Joy.

So now, I am in my bedroom at the apartment, face down on the bed, hugging a pillow that I had screamed in for over an hour before exhausting myself.

As I laid there, I felt myself began to think about what I was going to tell my boyfriend, Jung Ho-Seok. He's coming back to the apartment after dance practice and I know he'll be tired and stressed about their upcoming concert. I want to tell him, but at the same time, I don't want to burden him with it. So I just need to find a new job that I can tolerate and have my side of the story told as to why I hurt the customers. Before I could think further, I heard the door to the apartment open and close, his voice ringing throughout the place.

"Jagiya?"

"In here, Hobi..."

The door to the bedroom opened, revealing a slightly worn out, yet cheerful Jung Ho-Seok. He takes his jacket off, folds it and puts it on the chair before hopping into the bed with me, wrapping his arms around my plump waist and pulls me flush against him. "I missed you, Jagi." He murmurs into my hair, making me smile slightly. "I missed you too, Hobi. How was your day?" I asked, which made him pull me even closer to him(if it was even possible) and sighed. "It was exhausting... Hot... Not to mention that I nearly broke my damn ankle while doing the choreography." I felt myself laugh lightly as I turned around to face him, caressing his face while kissing his forehead. "My poor baby." I said, making him pout as he pecked my lips. "What about yours? How was your day?" The question made me groan lightly and put my head down. "Horrible. Absolutely horrible." I answered, making Hobi's eyes grow wide in concern and lifts us both up. "What happened?" He asked, frowning.

This was where I began to debate my answer.

Should I tell him? ... I mean, he'll understand, right? But what if that puts too much stress on him? He's already stressing out about the concert, and doing that would make him even more stressed! But I don't want to lie to him saying that it was nothing, that would make him feel suspicious and confront me later on about lying!

My decision had been made when I saw his facial expression: He was genuinely concerned about today, mainly my well-being. His eyes glistened with concern and I could feel my heart tremble because of the the silence in the air. Before I decided to change my mind, I felt my mouth move before my brain could tell me to stop.

"This guy, a customer at work, had pulled up my skirt and exposed my underwear for everyone to see."

The whole apartment fell silent as I saw how is concerned expression turned into an unfamiliar one. One I don't really see often.

Rage.

"What?"

The low, venomous growl leaving his lips made me gulp and look away from him. "If I find this guy, I swear to God I'm going to kill him!" I could feel the anger radiating from his sentence and his posture.

He was tense, his hands balled up into tight fists, his teeth were bare, and his eyes held a fire I had grown to love and fear.

"You won't have to deal with him, though. I took care of it."

His glare softened when his eyes met mine, his posture relaxing slightly, but not by much. He was like a spring; coiled up until it snaps. "What did you do?" I felt the smile form before return, but this time, it was wider.

"I gave him a left-hook."

His eyes grew like saucers, jaw dropped before covering his mouth to keep his laugh in. "I had a feeling you would do that." "You were right; however..." His laughing had seized when he heard the "however" and raised a brow. "However?" I felt myself sigh and wrap my arms around his waist, burying my head into his chest. "I got fired because of it." I felt him laugh and shake his head in disbelief. "Unbelievable." I heard him mumble, wrapping his arms around my shoulders before having us fall back onto the bed, his hand still holding me while the other went to stroke my hair. "It's their loss." He said. "Besides, they just lost their best employee." I felt myself snort and look up at him. "How was I the best?"

"For starters, you looked super sexy in that maid outfit. Remind me to get you one for Halloween."

"Hobi!"

"I'm playing! ... Not about you looking sexy, though."

"Hobi!"

His laughter rang in my ears as I felt my face flush in embarrassment.

"But you are the sweetest, funniest girl there was at the Café, unlike the other girls who are just... What's the word?"

"Cringey?"

"Yes, thank you."

I felt a chuckle leave me as I faced him again, seeing him look at me with soft, loving eyes. "That's why I love you." He said, making me blush as he pulled me in for a slow, passionate kiss. It seemed to last forever before we pulled away from each other, having my cheek pressed against his chest as he rests his chin on my head. "I love you too..." I murmured before falling into a blissful sleep.
