Superstions-Really?

Black Cats??

So let's start with this one as you can see it in my cover too.

You must have heard people saying

"Don't cross the road if a black cat crosses your path!"

Honestly my first reaction was like-"What the hell?

Can't it be possible that the black cat is on its way to meet her relatives or maybe she's searching for food.

Come on the black cats don't stop on seeing you humans crossing their path.(Humans are more black than black cats by heart honestly)

People say if you cross the path after the black cat crosses yours brings bad luck.

I tried to ask people why it brings bad luck but what I received as an answer was-

"Children should obey what their elders say.Don't raise questions on every topic."

I wondered if they even knew the reason.

Reason:

Superstitions are actually illogical.They aren't based on any reason or scientific research.

See in olden days most of the people used to be uneducated especially in a country like India. So after finishing their work they used to talk,talk and talk on baseless topics.

Imagine a cat crossed a villager's path while he's going to meet his family but the villager didn't stop and ignored it and then met with an accident. On the first time he wouldn't have really noticed the cat but if the same thing happened again in the next 2 or 3 months then the people who talked,talked and talked came to the profound conclusion that BLACK CATS BRING BAD LUCK!

They declared it but they didn't know that after decades millions of people would be wasting their time to let the black cat cross the path.

According to me police should use black cats instead of signals. Superstitions work well than rules and regulations.

So guys if you got the message then please please please now don't stop if a cat crosses your path. It's an innocent cute animal and it will never bring even a glimpse of Bad Luck to you.
