AS SHE WAS BEING CARRIED through the door, ushered in by Jeremy and Matt as the twins open the door allowing them to make it through. Wincing, yet despite it Jenna tried to tell the group of teens, "Hey, stop fussing, I'm fine."
"You stabbed yourself Jenna, the doctors said that you have to take it easy," insisted Maya Jane her eyes pointed and gazing sharply into her aunt. Maya had not been able to know her long but that hadn't meant she took the threat to her life easily.
In a chorus with her sister, Elena was swift to add on, "Yeah, you don't want to rip your stitches, hemorrhage and die, alright?" There was obvious dramatics behind her words yet how serious she was with her warning was anything but.
Jenna offered them a small smile while they helped her limp towards the couch, "Yeah, the only thing I'm gonna die from is embarrassment."
Already by the couch and fluffing up the pillows the middle child said, "Well if you want to die by another matter just try getting off this couch before you're ready." Glancing back up to the woman she added with a tight smile, "And I will kill you myself."
Chuckling as she was about to sit down Jenna shook her head remarking, "I walked into a knife. How does somebody do that?"
All three siblings shared a brief look, they all knew the compulsion she was under was doing its job, even if they hated it being done. Jeremy was the only one to speak up and rationalize, "It was a freak accident. It happens."
