I followed Judar down the hall, huffing slightly because of the fact that I had to run to keep up. Maids and servants rushed past us and throughout the palace preparing for their daily tasks. And I almost missed the sight of Judar's braid whipping around a corner while watching the bustling maids carry plates heaping with different fruits, and raced around the corner to catch him. Turning the corner, I didn't realize he had stopped and turned around and I slammed into his chest. I let out a yelp and fell back on my butt, rubbing my nose. I have got to stop doing that. Judar looked down at me in disgust. I still hadn't changed my clothes from when I had been on the streets and obviously hadn't taken a bath in who knows how long. My hair was greasy and tangled and I probably reeked of sweat and dirt. And Judar seemed to have noticed because he wrinkled his nose.

"You're a god damn mess!!" he said this as if I didn't know it already, "Do you really expect to stay here when you look like that?!" He grabbed the sleeve of my old clothes and dragged me across the courtyard and down a bigger more elegant hall and towards one of the closer doors.

"Wha?! W-wait! Where are you taking me?" my voice was small, I even squeaked.

"Shaddup." He let go of me so suddenly I fell forward onto the floor just as he marched over to the door and kicked it open forcefully, "Kougyoku!!" he shouted, his voice ringing through the room as if his forceful entry wasn't enough to alert the poor pink-headed princess in the corner.

"Eiiiieeeeee!!!" she squealed, actually squealed, "JUDAAARRR!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" she screeched, clawing at her chest in an attempt to calm her heart rate, her face boiling red. She looked like she was about to have a heart attack. I scrambled to my feet and examined the room, it was beautiful. Golden intricate designs covered the walls and a giant bed with a canopy sat in the middle against the far wall with wooden night tables on either side. When my gaze reached Kougyoku I realized she was looking from me to Judar, expecting him to explain who I was. I glanced at Judar who was returning Kougyoku's stare calmly, then my sight switched back to the princess.

Wait- Princess. Crap! I totally forgot! I quickly bowed, snapping my head forward. Judar jumped beside me and reached out as if he thought I was falling and Kougyoku looked startled (if that was even possible after the scare Judar had just given her).

"I apologize Princess, I did not greet you properly." It came out so fast, and I didn't even know what I was doing there in the first place. Why would Judar take me to one of the Princesses? I don't think I'm ready to meet the rest of my family yet!
