The Mark of the Soul

New Student

~Virgil POV~

I walked into my new school Calvin High. This sucks and being new to another school.  My mother says make a friend at this school. Everytime we move. I hate traveling, being new, and people.  I write stories to escape the real world and that all the time.

THUD

"Are you okay? " Someone asked.  I nodded my head. "Here let me help you up, " He grabbed my hand and pulled me off the ground.

"Thanks, " I said before walking down the hall to the main office. I can hear him calling after me but I ignored him  and keep walking.

~Roman POV~

That new guy is a little off.  I don't know what it was but when I touched him.  I feel butterflies in my stomach.  I looked at my birth mark it was glowing. How can that be. I need to go and find answers to this.

I walked  into the library to find a friend.

"Logan the nerd that I been looking for. I need your help on this problem? "

"What is your problem Roman?" Logan asked adjusting his glasses.

"It's about my birth mark it is glowing. After I touched the new kid. I don't know why. It freaked me out, Logan," I said looking at him.

"Well, that is odd. But it might not be a birth mark. It could be a soul mark. I don't know much about the subject but assuming that mean when you touched the new kid. Your mark reacted to him. That mean he is your soulmate, " He said in one breathe. I nodded but still confused.

~Virgil POV~

After that kid touched me.  My mark is glowing and I really can't hide it. The mark is located on my neck. Now, everyone going to think its a tattoo. I walked into the main office to get my schedule. I started to walked down the hall to my locker. Locker 114. I guess that it. I open my locker when I felt a tap on my shoulder.  I jumped at the sudden touch.

"Whoa, sorry I didn't mean to scare ya. I'm Patton, " He said with a smile.

"Virgil, " I mumble looking at the ground.

"Welcome to Calvin High. I hope you like it here," He said before leaving. I grab my stuff and head to class to find my seat. When I walked into the class room. I saw him the boy, who made my mark glow and it's dull glow now.

"Welcome to our school Mr. Silver. Please introduced your self to the class, " She said. I rolled my eyes and let out a long sigh.

"My name is Virgil Silver, " I said and sat down in an open seat. I could feel everyone is staring. This is become unbeatable. My breathing is getting faster. I got up from my seat and walked out of the class. I looked for the roof entrance. I could sense that someone is fallowing me but right now.  I need to find a quiet place away from people.

"Ah, " I sigh.  When I made it outside. I quickly looked behind me.  I saw that kid again. "What do you want? "

"Well..umm.. I saw you leaving class before the bell rang.  So I was wondering if you were okay, " He said looking at my neck.

"What are you staring at? " I said getting annoyed.

"Umm.. Your neck is glowing? " He said pointing at my mark.

"Yea I know. Now go away," I said turning away from him.

"Okay, " He said sounding depressed. My heart just broke at that.  I don't know why. Why should I care about anyone in the school I'm new and all.  Maybe it just a stupid crush. Nobody likes me. It all fair tails stuff that I would write stories about nothing more and nothing less.

I started to hear him leave. I took a quick glance behind me. He was gone good but not so good. This is what I deserve anyway.
