~~2 months later ~~~

- Virgil POV-

We been hiding for about 2 months now. Roman adjusted to the life in hiding. We learn everything that we missed to the end of our senior year. I wish we didn't have to hide out here but at least we can go out side. Logan kind of don't want to go outside. He keep saying something is in the woods. I kind of got the sense of being watched as well. I really don't know what but its just there. I told Roman. He looked at me with a concern expression. The next time that we went out he checked the whole woods and found nothing but that was last week.

We went out today and I just kept looking into the woods until I saw something moved. When it did I jumped from my spot and on to Roman's lap. 

"Virgil, hey are you alright?" He said wrapping his arms around my shaky body.

"N-N-No, something moved," I said trying to calm myself. I got up from his lap and went to check it out for myself.

"Virgil, what are you doing?" He asked. I turn towards him. 

"Trying to find out what that thing was?" I said and turned back toward the woods. I took a deep breath and entered the forest. All of a sudden, I felt a pain in my neck and lights out.

~Roman POV~

Virgil been in the woods for sometime now. I looked at my mark and it was glowing dark red. Virgil is in danger.

"VIRGIL!"I screamed,"WHERE ARE YOU!?"

Logan, Patton, and Virgil's dad came running towards me.

"What happened?" They all asked.

"Virgil saw something and went to check it out. The next thing I know that my mark is glowing and it's still is," I said really quickly.

"Alright we got to find him before dark," Mr. Silver said.

~Virgil POV~

I woke up with my neck hurting. I herd Roman yelling for me but I can't yell for him. I started to  panic. Whatever the thing was in my mouth is out now. I started to scream for him. I kept at until my throat is raw. I tried to get away but can't. I must be tied up. This must be a trap.

(Mind)

"Roman, I can you hear me?"

"Yes love, Where are you?"

"In the woods somewhere, but Roman its a trap," I told him.

"Seriously, why would they-" He cut himself off.

"Yea, I know," I said softly.

"I don't care what the cost is. I will save you,love," He said lovingly.

(outside of the mind)

I wish. I wish this isn't happening. We all been through so much and now here I am sitting here waiting for the people that did this or wait for my friends, boyfriend, and my dad. I really hate this. I saw the bush move. I was getting ready to scream but it was Roman. 

"Thank, god,"

"What does God have to do with this?"He said sarcastically. I smirk and rolled my eyes. Roman untied me and picked me up. I shook my head. 

"Your unbelievable," I said,"Let just go home."

We walked all the way back to the safe house. Logan, Patton, and my dad was sitting on the porch waiting for us to return. They looked towards and started to run at us. Roman gently place on the ground. Everyone gave me a hug until those guys that took me showed up.

"What do you want?" My father demand.

"We want those kids," The enemies said.

"You can't have them," My dad said.

"Well then we are taking them by force," he said

"Over my dead body," My father yelled. A shot was fired it was from us. It was from the enemy side. 

"We can't do this. Their kids. Why should we have a problem with people with soul marks anyway. They want love as much as the next person. So, why are we hunting them down like criminals?" said Agent Shield. He looked at me and smiled.

"You got a point there agent. We will leave you kids and everyone else with your talents alone but answer me one question?"said the older agent,"What would happened if one of you dies?"

"The other mate will die a slow death," I said," But sometimes, they will commit suicide with a week."

"Oh, so, if I killed you. Your soulmate dies, right." He said pointing his gun at me and I looked at Roman. Roman stood protectively in front of me.

"I will not let you kill, my love in front of me. Over my dead bo-," 

BOOM

"Huh?" Roman said confusingly. He looked down and saw me falling and blood,"Virgil? Virgil? Hey stay with me?"

Boom

I kept my eyes close but I can hear everything that is going on. 

"Ro-Ro-Rom-Roman," I muttered.

"Yea its me. I'm here," he said softly.

"I don't want to die, Princey,"

"Your not going to die, Hot Topic. I won't let you," He said. I felt a tear on my face. It was getting harder to breath, "Virgil! Hey stay with me. Can you hear me,love? Virgil? Brian! Help me?"

"Alright. Oh My God! Virgil! Stay with me bud," My father said. 

"I can help. I'm so sorry about my partner. So, Please let me help for his mistake," Agent Shield said.

"Just don't tried anything,"Roman growled. He nodded with a gulped.

"We need to carry him inside. So, we can get the bullet out," They carried me inside and laid me on a table. Agent Shield got the bullet out and stitch me up.

~1 day later~

I woke up wincing at the pain running down my arm. I started to look around to see Roman was sleeping next to me. Logan and Patton was cuddling on the couch. My father was sleeping in a chair and that agent guy was cooking breakfast.

"So, what are we having,"
