“Louis! Where are you taking us?!” Emma yelled as Louis drove down the road on a street she didn’t recognize.
“If I haven’t told you the past hundred times, I’m not going to tell you now! This is a surprise to help you get your mind off of things…” Louis said looking at her through the rearview mirror.
Emma rolled her eyes. “I don’t need to get my mind off of things.”
“Oh but you do.” Liam said. He had given up trying to find out what Louis and Zayn had in mind for them to do.
“Ughh.” Emma moaned, causing all the boys to laugh.
They drove for about another five minutes before Louis exclaimed, “We’re here!” And put the car in park.
“Oh thank God!” Emma yelled jumping out of the car. “The bowling alley?!”
“That’s just number one on our list.” Louis said as Zayn smirked. She glared at the two boys.
“Just so you know, she’s gonna kick our butts in there.” Niall said nodding towards the building.
Emma grinned, “Oh, this is going to be fun.” She said before walking off.
“Is she really that good?” Harry asked
Niall nodded, “There wasn’t one person in our old town who could play her, and win.”
“Well that’s about to change.” Louis said confidently.
“I wouldn’t count on it.” Niall said, smirking before walking off to catch up to Emma.
As the group walked into the building all the commotion stopped, and all eyes were on them.
“Great,” Emma muttered, “Just what I need. I am seriously going to have to reconsider hanging out with you guys.” She finished, pushing past them. Well tried to anyway. Louis pulled her back. She stumbled into his chest and he held her there, not wanting her to storm off again.
“Come on, Em. It’s not that bad.” He said, just as the screaming started.
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me.” She groaned. Louis grinned at her sheepishly. She shook her head. “Let me go Louis.”
“No.” He said defiantly. Emma rolled her eyes.
“I’m not going to run away. Promise.” She said crossing her fingers. Louis rolled his eyes.
“Fine, I’ll let you go..” He said pushing her towards Niall, and he grabbed her arm.
“You guys are so un trustworthy!” She yelled glaring at Louis.
“Come on Em, are you trying to tell me you wouldn’t of ran away?” Niall said, annoyed with her attitude. On one hand he understood where she came from, the screaming girls were annoying, but it wasn’t the guys’ fault.
“No. I would’ve stomped off to get bowling shoes, and then to the lane we were assigned and waited for you guys to join me. I’m not like some people here. I don’t just completely abandon my friends.” She spat, unfortunately, not thinking about what she was actually saying. The guy’s gasped, as Niall dropped her arm out of shock. Was she implying what they think she was implying. Immediately she regretted it.
“Niall, I didn’t mean that. I’m sorry.” She said, trying to get him to look at her. He just pushed past her. He knew she was right, but her words didn’t hurt any less. She sighed.
“Look Em, he messed up, but you don’t need to hold it against him forever.” Louis said angrily.
“I didn’t think about what I was saying! I didn’t mean it! I didn’t mean it.” She said, whispering the last part, as her eye’s filled with tears. Liam walked over to her.
