“Emma!” I heard a voice yell. I groaned into my pillow. “Emma, you need to wake up now!” The voice said again, in my ear.

“Whaaaaattttt dooooo youuuuuuu wannnnnnttttttt?” I groaned as everyone piled into my room.

“We can’t find Niall, and you’re the last one he was seen with last night.” I racked my brain trying to remember the last thing we did, the last place we were.

“What do you mean you can’t find Niall? He came home with me last night! I dragged him in here, and you all were laughing at me, not helping at all…Remember?” I said, trying to remember what happened last night, which was hard in my sleep ridden state.

“Yeah, and then we all went to bed, and you stayed up doing whatever it is you did!”

“And then I went to sleep at like 3. He told me he was going to go to bed soon too! That was the last time I saw him.” I looked around at all of their faces. They were really worried. This was real. “You mean you really can’t find him?”

They all shook their heads.

“Maybe he went out to get breakfast…” I whispered, hopefully.

“Alone? Without his phone?” Liam said throwing Niall’s phone on the bed.

“I-I-I….” I had a sudden feeling of déjà vu. “He….I….I can’t breathe.”  I said , hyperventilating. They all just stood there, unsure of what to do.

“Hey, Em breathe. I’m sure he’s fine. Right guys?” Lily asked looking around at everyone else. They all nodded weakly. I shook my head.

“He never goes anywhere without his phone…He…Oh god….” I cried.

“Hey guys!” A voice said from the kitchen area. “Where is everyone?”

We all looked at each other, frozen. Finally he made his way back to my room.

I still had tears streaming down my face.

“Where the hell were you?”

“Umm I went for a walk?” He said, well more like asked.

“Without your phone?!” I yelled. He walked over to me.

“Hey it’s okay. I’m okay.”

I shook my head. “Do you have any idea how worried we all were?”

“I’m sorry, okay. I just needed to clear my head.”

“Next time, leave a note or something. I was this close to calling Paul and Simon.” Liam said holding up his fingers to show how close he was to calling them.
