High School is.... terrible.

New School, Fantasy High

Dear Journal,

Today, everyone in like, a hundred and fifty miles of this new school is either going there or transferring somewhere else. It's called Fantasy High, and apparently it only exists because all of the schools in the area were starting to get too small for comfort, or they just wanted the students to have a ~wider variety~ of people to meet. Gaepora said he thought it would be best if we all went to a actual high school to "learn how to socialize with other teenagers" or whatever. We started today. I already ended up making zero new friends, while Ganondorf- that dumbass senior- managed to make friends with some of the worst bullies I've ever seen. There's this one kid from Homestuck Academy named Jack Noir- or Spades Slick, since he's in a gang- that's stabbed a kid. Multiple times. Some of the others aren't so bad though, and I've still got Zelda with me, and that's all that really matters to me right now.

Link was in school, after the first week, sitting with Zelda in his first class. New kids kept trickling in from different schools that had joined together to make this one. There were these kids up towards the front of the room that looked almost like twins, but they insisted that it was more of a weird cousin relationship (they said ecto-sibling but simplified it to cousin). The bullies seemed to migrate towards each other, like some kind of evil magnet pulled them all together.

There were already a few groups to be reckoned with. The bullies were the main one, and they had started to pick up names like "The Big Bads" or "The Main Villains", but there was also a small group of kids from Homestuck Academy who liked to gather together, most of the time wearing these dumb pajamas to school, and the aliens stuck around with them. Right, there were aliens in this school. There was one other group, who called themselves either "The Seven Birds" or IPRE.

Home Economics was probably the worst. None of the kids from Homestuck Academy took that class, claiming the teacher was "The Batterwitch", whatever that meant. It turned out that their teacher was another one of those aliens- one of the girls' mom. One set of twins- actual twins, from the town of Faerun- ruled the Home economics class with their amazing cooking. Link actually thought they were Hylian like he was for the longest time, but they turned out to be high elves- some kind of elf who tended to be much better at magic than most for some reason. They were named Taco and Loop apparently- which Link just didn't understand.

Though, by the end of the second week, he found himself hanging out with one of the kids from Faerun-this tiny little beanpole of a kid that looked way younger than anyone else named Angus McDonald. John, from Homestuck, ended up hanging out with them too, which brought in three more Homestuck kids, Dave, Jade, and Rose, and one other kid from Faerun who really liked dogs, carving ducks, and this one jellyfish he named Fisher.

Link even watched John die once- actually, he watched John and his "cousin" both die at the same time. Peanuts. Both were allergic to peanuts, and they purposefully ate peanuts while other Homestuck kid's stood around chanting "Die! Die! Die!" at them. Link later found out it was because of something called "God tier" that didn't let them die.

Before he knew it, Link had found himself a slowly growing group of friends that expanded a lot every time a Homestuck joined, and he wasn't dreading going to school everyday. His adoptive mom, the goddess Hylia, had noticed this too, and even brought it up with some of her newer friends, a couple of other gods and goddesses from Faerun- Pan, Istus, and The Raven Queen.

This school was seen as hell at first, for all the students who had just gotten warmed up to the people in their own towns, but for Link, it was slowly becoming one of his favorite places to be.
