Chapter 19

      Its now dark. Everyone is in the living room. Nobody knows about how klaus had just asked me to marry him. They all just relaize that we both are in very good moods. More so klaus. Hes always a tad bit angry. So yes, everyone is curious.

      "What in the bloody hell has gotten into you brother?" Rebekah ask curiously.

        "Oh dear sister, you will know soon enough " he says with his devilish smile.

        "Niklaus, do not tell us that you have a plan to kill someone else." Elijah states calmly fixing his cuff links on his suit.

       "Elijah, brother, why must all mt happy moods have to end with the death of someone?" He ask already knowing the awnser.

     "Just tell us already." Rebekah states in a annoyed tone.

     I look at klaus who is syanding next to me. He glances over and down at me. He gives me a look like he needs my permission to announce it. I just nod. He lets out a sigh of annoyance. Seems like he doesnt want to say anything yet. Maybe because he doesnt want to take away his happy mood.

      "If you must know." He began. He moves is way towards his siblings. Placing his hands behind his back. "I have asked jade here, to marry me."

     Rebekahs face went in shock mode. Elijah still calm ans humble as ever. "Are you serious Nik?" Rebekah ask for somw reassurance.

      "Indeed, little sister." Klaus says smiling at her. He allows her to know that this is for real. Its not a joke.

      "My big brother, finally you have made the most wise choice of your entire thousand year life." She began. "You allowed love to enter your soul. Im overly joyed for you."

       She gave klaus a hug to let him know that she is proud of the decision that he had made. All she ever wanted was love and happiness. Seeing her older brother get it was a dream she has also wished for. It was finally coming true.

     "Yes niklaus, we are all happy for you." Elijah finally put in his sense.

     I could tell that klaus was happy. He was nervous about how hus siblings would take the news. He wanted them to except me. Except the life we have chosen to live.

        He comes back and stands by me. Putting his arm ovee my shoulder. He smiles big at his sibling standing in front of us. "Shall we celebrate?" He says.

       "Indeed brother. " elijah says then he exits the room to go grab a bottle of bourbon. I look up at klaus who still has his arm around me. He looks down at me. We just smile at each other. I am the happiest i have ever been in my life. I now know that moving to new orleans was rhe best decision i ever made.

       "You two look ravishing together." We hear a mand voice from behind us. We turn around and see kol. Klaus' younger brother.

      "Kol" rebekah yells out snd runs over and giving him a hug.

      "What do we owe the pleasure of your company brother?" Klaus says turning us around to face him, still keeping his arm over my sholder.

     "I actually came to visit my dwar sister. Wasnt to keen on you." Kol begins. "But as i see now, you have changed in heart."

     "Yes brother. For the woman i love." Klaus says sending a glance down at me.

       "Im happy for you nik." He says walking over to us. He takes my hand and kisses it. "Lovely to meet you."
