Chapter 10

        It had been 6 days since Kenzie went into the coma. I'm so scared. It was killing me seeing her like this. She looked so sad. So different. Her blonde hair ratted up, dark circles under her eyes.

Cam, Taylor and I need to leave tomorrow. We have to take the plane, which I am extremely nervous about. But unless we want to leave tonight we have to. Kenzie is going to be transported to an american hospital soon. Im pretty sure her mom said in the next few days. Her mom also, amazingly said if she makes a full recovery she can come do MAGCON with us when she's better. KayLynn arrived 5 days ago and she has been the biggest help in the world.Her and Matthew totally hit it off. I mean she has always had the hugest crush on him. When she got to meet Taylor, Cam and Matt she kinda flipped her lid. Lol. Then again, who wouldn't. Matthew and I, In the 7 days I have known him, we have become like brother and sister. Hes the best.

"Sydney? What time are we leaving tomorrow?" Cameron asks me as I lean my head against his shoulder.

We are currently in the hospital room with Kenzie.

"How am I supposed to know?" I laugh.

"Just wondering." He sighs.

Things with Cameron and I have been really weird lately. He keeps acting really weird when I bring up Nash. Maybe there in a fight or something. What ever it is they need to get over it. Thats the last thing I need right now, MORE DRAMA...

I look over at kenzie. Suddenly I see one of her fingers slightly move.

"Cameron, Kenzies finger just moved!" I scream jumping up and down.

This is the most progress we have seen her make since she has been in her coma. I walk over to her and rest my hand on hers. Again it moves.

"Cameron, call the doctor, I think she is going to wake up. Like now..." I smile. He does as I say and within seconds her nurse is in the room. Her nurse is so cool. She is the same blonde lady that took me to see Kenzie for the first time. Gosh, that seems like forever ago...

"Whats going on?" She asks confused.

"I think shes waking up" I smile.

"And what makes you say that?" She asks

"She keeps moving her hand..." I say.

"Ohhh honey, that probably only means she dreaming or something. You can't just get your hopes up like that." She frowns.

"Buttttt....." I drift off.

"Im sorry." She says walking out of the room.

I dont know why this had to happen to her. Its not fair. She doesn't deserve it. I look over at cameron and hes just frowning looking down at his hands. He looks up at me with sorrow in his eyes.

"Im sorry..." He sadly says.

"Why does everybody keep saying that?!" I growl and storm out of the room.

I need to get out of this god damn hospital. I don't care where, I just need to go.

I run to the doors and call for a cab. Since we were in New mexico it was extremely hot. A cab quickly pulled over and I got on.

"Where to?" He asked.

"Umm..." I thought outloud. Suddenly an idea came to me.

"The beach!" I exclaimed.

"

Yes ma'm" He replied. The beach is like my happy place. It calms me.

Finally we got there. I handed the cab driver his money and jumped out. The humidity in the air was unbelievable. I looked at my phone. It was almost 9:00 pm. The sun was close to setting. The oranges and yellows and pinks were starting to set in the sky. It really was beautiful. I sat in the sand and took my black vans off. I picked them up and started walking along the shore. The water was really warm. It felt nice on my feet. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I look it out and looked at the caller ID. It was Cameron. I groaned in annoyance adn denied the call. As I put the phone back into my cabk short's pocket it started to vibrate in my hand yet again. I looked at the caller ID. Cameron...

"What?!" I asked annoyed.

"Where are you Sydney?!" He asked.

"At the beach.." I said into the phone "Why?"

"Sydeny...She is awake..." He spoke loudley.
