I watched her sleep in my arms as we passed through the entrance of the house. She slept so still at times I had wondered if she was still alive. Her eyes would flutter so slightly in the back of her eye lids and that's all I'd had to go on.

"he'll be back anytime now, until then I suggest you just stay up in his room and wait till he's home". She grabbed me by my arm and dragged me back up to the room and slammed the door shut behind me. I heard a click of a lock and I was trapped. I stared up and down the walls..no windows no pictures. Just a tv, a closet, a bathroom, and a bed. Empty gray walls and drapes that led to nothing a fireplace was put off in the corner of the room a couch lay in front of it. I was aware I was in the bed when I had woken up. 'did someone sleep with me'?

I went over to the couch and pulled down the small blanket. I laid down across the couch and curled up into a ball and as i started drifting to sleep I heard the small click of the door unlocking and I wondered to myself..
