The Life Of An Absol In Skyrim: Book 1

Chapter 2: A Dream. A Destiny. A Dragon.

     I woke up, but I wasn’t at the shrine. I realized it was a dream, but all I saw was a bright light and a silhouette of a man. A voice a woman's voice spoke saying, The dragonborn, he who speaks dragon tongue. Talos has chosen you for his aid. You will help him slay the dragon Alduin and all others it is your destiny.
    I woke up for real on my fathers back. He said, he found me there and started caring me to our next stop. I ask where are we. He said Mara's Eye Pond. He asked what happened, but when I told him he even shuttered. I asked him what is going to happen he said there are only a few people who can answer that question. Luckily he said the is one in winterhold who ca named Gardia. He also said he found a note and a few bottles next to me, but said he couldn’t read it. I read the note it said drink a sip of this daily to suppress seizures, Talos. The crazy thing is it was written in a language I couldn’t read till now. The bottle said Sleeping Tree Sap. I carried them to remember to sip some daily, and it worked.
     We spent a lot of time at the pond. My Father always said I was destined for great things, but he died expect this. He said to do this i had to learn how to fight. He taught me many moves that he knew I was too young to learn some of them. He said I just needed practice.
     He taught me a lot about stealth, and how to kill instantly through hunt for animals near the pond. Suddenly there was a roar. We ran back to the pond to Mother and a huge monster in the sky past us. My Father said Alduin, I asked whos that he said it’s the dragon  the dragonborns destined to kill. He is powerful. It is said he can resurrect other dragons from death. He also said that he is a sign of the Dragonborns return and that what destiny is could be true.
     First thing in the morning, we better get moving. We were heading toward a mill to rest at. But we are still very far from Winterhold I asked about how we earn our names as Absols He says you earn it through many ways you will know when it's given to you. We marked my brother with the crescent moon. He always stares at it every night saying how beautiful it is. I asked if it should be his mark he said yes so I asked Father to give it to him. After about 6 months at Mara’s eye pond training, and another walking to the mill we made it to our next stop. I was about 2 and half years old after all this. My Mother just had my little sister not shiny either. I was so happy. So we stayed for a while near here. Father trained me more and I was have a great time becoming stronger. My brother tried to learn a bit too, but what we saw next, we couldn’t believe.
