The Life Of An Absol In Skyrim: Book 1

Chapter 1: The Beginning of My Life

     I was an Absol born in the Eldergleam Sanctuary. My father says I’m shiny, just like him, because I was red instead of gray. He explained I was special because not many are shiny, and I was there first born.
     We lived in the Sanctuary for a while till I could travel. My Family travel from place to place often. I was going to miss the Sanctuary. The place was pure nature and guarded from hunters by spriggans. My father says they protect all nature from harm.
     Roots blocked most entrances by a special tree there. When we left, we headed to a mining town called Dark Water Crossing. When night came, my father took many vegetables from the farm there for food.
     We followed the trail to Fort Amol. Necromancer lived so we stayed out. We stopped at an abandoned prison, but stayed outside looking for fish at night.
     Absols have customs in life. For example, We all have a mark on our bodys to tell each other apart. I was born with epilepsy. I’m an epileptic Absol I asked my mark to be a scar on my head where my scar on my brain is. My Father focused a psycho cut in one claw to make my mark across my head.
     My father mark is a handprint on his shoulder. I don’t know what it means. He said he would tell me one day. My moms was an eye with 5 spikes around it. She gave the same answer. They will tell me one day.
     We traveled to the Shrine of Talos. My 1st brother was born a year after me. He wasn’t shiny, but I loved him. We spent lots of time at the shrine for him to grow stronger for travel. In that time i went to the statue to look at.
     The eyes glew suddenly, a ghost came out the statue. I was silent in fear. It said, I am Talos you have a destiny in your future. The dragonborn has returned. You well help in his quest. Ask god of man, war, and dragonborns, I give you gifts. He held my head, and his hand glew brightly. I passed out.
