"That's the thing. Arthur. Leon. I am Emrys." Merlin said and both men just looked at her.

Arthur shook his head. "No."

Merlin felt tears in her eyes. "Yeah."

Arthur kept shaking his head. "I would know."

Leon kept staring at her. Realization forming on his face. As if he was connecting all the puzzle pieces.

Leon sat down and Gwen patted his shoulder. He gave Gwen a look. "I know it's a lot to take in." She whispered.

"You're- You- You've been lying to me." Arthur finally settled on.

"No. Arthur don't look at it like that." Merlin was crying now.

"How do you want me to look at it? That your the most powerful magic user ever? How you've been breaking the law ever since you've been here? How you-" Arthur voice cracked and his own eyes filled up with tears.

Morgana, Lancelot, Ewan and Gwen pulled Leon out of the room to give them privacy.

Arthur and Merlin stared at each other for a moment longer. Both silent, neither knowing what to say.

"Are- Did you-" Arthur tried to asked but struggled. "Do I really love you? Or is it magic?"

Merlin looked horrified at the idea. "I would never enchant you Arthur. Your feelings are your feelings. Not what I want you to feel."

Arthur nodded. He sat down at the bench and held his head in his hands. "All this time."

Merlin nodded.

More silence.

"Will didn't have magic did he?"

"No. It was me."

Arthur nodded.

More silence.

Merlin sat down next to him on the bench. Close enough where if he moved to hold her he could but far enough as to where she could not be pushed away.

After a moment Arthur put his arm around her. She leaned into him.

He pulled her onto his lap and held her tight.

"Alright." Was all he said and Merlin knew they were going to be okay.

She let out an airy laugh. She kissed his jaw from where she was resting head in his neck.

"Alright." She whispered back.

It's only like 350 words but you know what! I like it. I feel its kinda not realistic but in character. My Arthur has an initial freak out then calms down and loves Merlin again.

Leon however is still just letting it sink in.
