It had been a week since Chris and Vee did it. I guess you could say they were finally official. Although they never discussed it, they sure acted like it. There was a lot of PDA going on between them since the party.

Chris still didn't feel right though, for some strange reason. At first he thought he liked the girl, but now he was kind of having second thoughts. He didn't know why he felt that way so suddenly, when she was all he wanted in the beginning. But he figured he was just confused, and he wouldn't want to lose her over something he was probably just overthinking.

The fair was in town, and the couple was actually just heading there. They walked hand in hand and we're almost there, the Ferris wheel being more and more visible.

They looked good as a couple, especially today. Chris wore black jeans, with a white shirt, it was simple but he still looked handsome. Veronica wore a stunning red dress, she had some lipstick on and light mascara that complemented her hazel eyes. Her shoulder length, red hair was curled to perfection.

"I can't wait to go on all the rides!" Vee exclaimed.

"You sure you won't get sick?" He chuckled and teased.

"Can it, Chambers." She said and glared at him. This look on her face was washed over with a smile once again.

"What do you wanna go in first?" She asked excitedly like a little kid.

"Uh, the Ferris wheel?" He asked, it being the only ride he saw.

They continued making small talk until they arrived. They walked around the area and Chris got a lemonade. His girlfriend ended up wandering off with her friends and so he was alone on a bench sipping on his beverage. He wasn't upset about it though, kind of wanting some space. He got up and looked around him, wondering where to go next.

He figured go look at the carousel, a ride that a group of teenage girls could go on. Despite wanting some space, he looked for his girlfriend, feeling awkward being at a fair alone. He leaned on the gate that went around the carousel hoping that he'd see her as it came around, but it was no luck. She wasn't there, but to his surprise it was someone else was.

He looked at the girl who sat next to another little girl. The one he was looking at was laughing, and looked absolutely stunning. He had almost wished he never gotten into this mess with Vee. He saw the girl from a distance and just knew it was her. The feeling he felt the first time rushing throughout his body once again.

"Fuck.." he muttered to hisself and rushed his hands through his hair, knowing he couldn't do anything about it now

He looked at her and she looked happy. He knew it was those same noticeable blue eyes he saw three years ago, only this time she was taller, her hair was a bit longer, and she looked more like a woman now.

"Hey, Baby!" Veronica creeped up from behind him.

"I was looking everywhere for you." He said as if he wasn't just looking at some other girl.

"I was at the Ferris wheel, waiting for you." She playfully smacked his arm. He snaked his arms around her waist.

"Well what are we waiting for?" He said and started walking in the direction of the Ferris wheel. It didn't take long for them to get on, and once they did Chris looked out for two things, Ella and someone he knew.

He immediately saw Ella, lining up for some food with the same little girl, and quickly looked around for someone else he knew. He saw his friend David and pointed him out.

"Hey, look, David." He said and pointed down, point him out because he was a mutual friend.

"Would you mind if I went to talk to him while you talk to your friends?" He asked.

"Of course not. He's your friend, right?" She said, not really liking he felt the need to ask. She wasn't gonna force him who to stay with her.

He just chuckled and nodded.

After the ride was over they kissed and said their I'll see you laters. Chris lied, and in all honesty he didn't feel so bad. He didn't feel bad for lying to his girl about going to look for a friend.

Instead he went looking around in hopes to see the blue eyed girl. He didn't know what it was that drew him to her but it was strong.

Suddenly all his confidence was lost when he saw her there, talking to Gordie. But also saw more of a reason to approach her.

"Hey, Gordie." Hs said, pretending to not even acknowledge Ella.

"Hi." He said careful not to say his name. He just stood back and waited for the magic to happen. This resulted in Ella falling silent from her conversation with Gordie, thinking he was gonna talk to his friend.

She got confused when it fell silent between them and she looked at the two. She looked at the boy and almost immediately recognized him being one of the boys from three years ago.

"Gordie, your not gonna introduce me to your friend?" Ella teased. He looked a little flustered, but she couldn't be too sure. It was somewhat obvious to her Chris still had the hots for her, and she wanted to play with it.

"Ah of course, this is-" Chris immediately cut Gordie off.

"I'm Chris Chambers." He put his hand out to see if maybe she would shake it this time. He didn't know what to do at this point, not knowing to play it off like he didn't remember her or to play it off like he did. She only had an amused look on her face and raised her eyebrow, yet again ignoring his gesture of a handshake.

"Hi, Chris." She said softly, hoping that maybe he was acting in not remembering her. Especially because she remembered and recognized him so clearly. She wasn't sure why but she just did.

"Hi, Ella." He smiled.
