Another regular day at the shop, ode attending to a few customers(including zor), zor sitting around
reading the paper, Brianna no where to be found, master lu' doing whatever weird stuff he does daily,
yup, things were going good for butterflyman and his team(or so it seemed). With the last of the
customers leaving, ode cleaning up the store, zor tuned in to the news channel where they were talking
about the city’s mysterious hero. “hey, hey…look who’s on t.v” zor said grinning. Ode smiling back said
nothing and continued his work. ”dude… you’re busting the headlines and all you can do is smile?...this
is a cause for celebration” zor said jokingly. “yeah, I guess it is” ode replied. But the t.v said otherwise.
”the appearance of this so called “butterflyman” is no cause for celebration” said the mayor of
browdsville who was being interviewed on the news channel. “WHAT!?” ode exclaimed and stopped
what he was doing to pay full attention to the news. “yup, you heard me right, we should not leave the
fate of our city into the hands of this amateur untrained teen who managed to gain super powers by
means unknown to us….we have no idea of his identity so how can we trust him?..who knows?...he
might be one of the villains disguised so as to fool us before taking control of us. We have trained-
personnel who take care of the issues of these villains….not to talk of the damage this amateur who
walks around in a silly costume causes to the city while trying to ‘save the day’. It costs us, the
government, money….but with our high facility officers these will be taken care of with as little as
possible damage caused” said the mayor on the t.v screen. “man…don’t listen to this shit, he doesn’t
know what he’s talkin about, those lazy ass high facility officers are the reason we started doing this
ourselves, and most times they cant even defeat the villains, but he doesn’t know that, he just pays
them blindly” said zor in an indifferent tone. “I cant believe they wanna shut me down already “ ode
said. “butterfly man, if you’re watching this, im here to say stop what you’re doing, we don’t need you,
we can take care of ourselves, and beware, we’re on to you. From now on high facility officers are
commanded to ENGAGE with FULL FORCE when confronted by butterfly man.“ the mayor concluded.”
At least your identity is safe” flame boy said. “we seek to expose the identity of this so called
“BUTTERFLY MAN” and bring him to the public….of the eye, and we have some leads and suspects
already, we are sure that one day he will be found.” Added the mayor. “oh great, im getting a threat
from the government and my secret identity is at risk.” said ode sarcastically. There was no doubt that
the government wasn’t in support of butterfly mans work, but this was just the bidding of the richest
man in the world(who lives in browdsville by the way, and no…he’s not bill gates). Yes, the richest man
in the world was the chief master-mind here, bribing his way to get rid of butterfly man, and why would
he do this?, what business does he have with butterfly man?, what did butterfly man ever do to
him?...these are questions for another day, but one thing was sure, he wanted butterfly man gone. He
spearheaded the “go away butterflyman” scheme the mayor just spoke of and donated the necessary
funds(bribes) to make sure it was a success and from the list of suspects he was given he seemed to
have a strong feeling towards ode, so he decided to investigate. He arrived at ode’s shop in his golden
car and walked in, paying attention to every detail, looking for anything suspicious. It was just him ode
and zor in the shop and they were both surprised and extremely happy to see him thinking he was thereor patronization. Zor played it cool and went to sit, acting like he didn’t care while ode attended to him.
“what might I get you , mr richest man in the world sir?” asked ode with a wide smile. The richest man in
the world, looking at ode through his shades made a long list of demands and told ode to whip it up
quickly. “this boy, if he’s butterfly man , should use his superspeed unknowingly as a result of his
excitement seeing me in his shop” he thought. He turned on the x-ray vision on his high tech glasses
which enabled him to see through walls and watch what ode was doing in the kitchen, but surprisingly
ode was making them at a normal rate. When he was done, ode served all that he made(which was
really much), but the richest man in the world told him to throw it all away. “are you serious?....i worked
hard in making them sir….you should at least taste them” said ode.” I said throw them away!...i don’t
want to eat them stupid boy!...will you tell me what I want?” richest man in the world said splashing
saliva on ode’s face and giving him 2 hot slaps on the cheek. Ode, holding his cheeks carried the food
and threw it in the dumpster. ”this guy’s a real jerk” he thought to himself. The t.v was still on the news
channel, which wasn’t helping ode’s temper. “and what about flame boy and falcon girl?” the reporter
asked the mayor who was still on t.v. ode, zor and the richest man in the world looked at the t.v intently.
“ oh those two?...we aren’t against them at all, we actually really like them, they both are pretty cool”
said the mayor with a wide grin. The richest man in the world now paying attention to ode’s facial
expression, was trying to detect signs of anger on his face.” Yeah, I think they’re pretty cool, awesome
even….the way they behave, their costume, their powers n all…..but butterflyman?...tah! that
loser….he’s a disgrace to the city’s name and should be terminated” commented the richest man in the
world. Ode now boiling with anger was holding back his rage without giving off any signs and said “well I
think he’s doing a great job and is just misunderstood by the government”. “yeah, the government are
just being irrational about this whole issue and are just jumping to conclusions” added zor, Which led to
more suspicion by the richest man in the world because they both sided butterflyman. They all kept
watching the t.v , while he(richest man in the world) drank a coke, with the reporter ever eager to ask
more questions to the mayor. “well , since we are already at the high facility department, I might as
well reveal the latest project which we’ve been working on” said the mayor taking the reporter into a
room filled a bunch of robot parts. This made ode and zor a lot more curious, as the richest man in the
world smiled seeing that his plan was falling into place. “we present to you………ANDROID BOT 1.0!” the
mayor said, revealing a robot hidden in a high tech container. “this is the officer of the future, a robot
built to suit the needs of the city’s cry for more capable officers to handle villains. Being a robot, it uses
the best and most advanced A.I and algorithm to solve different problems and situations to reduce
damage and harm to the city and its citizens, and designed to simulate most of the abilities
“butterflyman” has. this robot would serve this city far better than him” he said , activating the robot.
The robot was sent through a tough obstacle course which it cleared with ease, displaying some of its
abilities. It was quite a simple design used for the body, being all white and the hands and legs
connected by magnets with a blue stripe line on the head, indicating it was on. Soon, android bot’s blue
light changed to red as it attacked the mayor, who was still praising it, with some kung-fu skills. At that a
wider grin appeared on the richest man in the worlds face. “as you can see, we are still working out the
bugs” said the mayor in excruciating pain who was now face flat on the ground with android-bot on top
of him . Android bot, just getting started, then converted one of his arms into a ray blaster and pointed
it right at the mayors face ready to blast, putting the reporter and the mayor in a state of shock.
“SOMEBODY GET THIS THING OFF ME!!!” the mayor screamed, now in fear for his life. The lazy highacility officers were able to get the robot off the governor just before the blast which began the beat
down between android bot and all the high facility officers. The robot easily conquered them knowing
their tactics and the reporter caught it all on tape, it then flew off , creating a hole in the roof of the high
facility department. “ it seems android bot has turned against its creators and has become a vessel of
evil, we do not know the cause of its behavior, but we know its going to attack the city” said the
reporter live on t.v. “oh great” said ode in his mind, “now I have to take care of this “. Giving zor the
sign, he was about to step out of the store when the richest man in the world called him back. “where
are you going?....im not done with my coke yet” he asked. “umm…my shift is over…” ode said, thinking
of a better excuse, “but don’t worry , my friend over there will take care of your orders now….tah-tah”
he said and left. Richest man in the world knew something was up, but couldn’t further his investigation
for ode’s excuse was to good, so decided to leave it for another day. When he was done with his coke,
zor gave him the bill, and he just put a penny in the tip jar and stood up, heading for the exit. “umm…sir,
you have to pay for all the other stuff you ordered “ zor said in the most respectful manner he could.
Richest man in the world, turning back looked at him and said, “im the richest man in the world, I can do
whatever I like.” Spat on zor’s face and exited the shop, entering his golden car and zooming off.
Meanwhile, butterfly man appeared in the city, where Android bot was causing havoc. “now why are
you disrupting the peace of the city?, aren’t you supposed to be the one protecting citizens and stopping
bad guys?, so much for officer of the future……what am I doing?, talking to a robot?, oh lets just get this
over with”. Said butterfly man. “what a pleasant surprise, butterflyman, for it is you I have been waiting
for.” Said android bot in a very deceptive human-like voice. Butterfly man, now confounded at android
bots speech exclaimed; “you can talk?!......you were waiting for me? , why?, how do you even know my
name?”. “because I was made for the sole purpose of destroying you, first, before attending to the
needs of citizens.” Said android bot flying at butterfly man with his rocket boosters and hitting him
away. Butterfly man, now afraid, tried to evade android bot’s next attacks which were explosives shot
at him. He managed to dodge some of them using his super speed, but android bot, using his own robo-
speed, caught up to him and fired shots exactly hitting and blowing up butterflyman . butterflyman,
activated his rock hands and tried to land a punch on android bot, who easily dodged his attacks hitting
him several times in the face with his robo-speed hands. Butterflyman then caught him off-guard and
used the opportunity to smash this hunk of metal into the ground with his heavy rock hands, but as he
was about hitting him, android bot held his rock hands and flung butterflyman away, displaying his
strength. Android bot then released a series of missiles at butterflyman, who blocked them with his
shield and covered his whole body with rocks and charged with superspeed at android bot, smashing
the robot through a building, got on top of him before raining down on him endless blows. But android
bot got a hold of butterflymans 2 fists and shot him with a powerful laser coming out from what
appeared to be his eyes, which destroyed the rock armor butterflyman had on and sent him high in the
air, and almost instantly at the maximum point of butterflymans flight, android bot appeared with
incredible speed and elbowed butterflyman straight to the ground. Then with one arm he picked
butterflyman from the ground who seemed to have been knocked out, and was about to finish him off
when butterflyman released his energy blast which blasted in all directions from his chest outward,
sending android bot to the ground. Then butterfly man flew up into the air holding a loaded tanker and
threw it to crash and explode on android bot, but the robot caught it. “back to sender” he said as heredirected the tanker to butterfly man, which it hit and caused a large explosion in the air sending
butterfly man higher up. Then butterfly man, coming with high speed down was covered with flames
and crashed with all force right at Android bot. this hit surely should’ve finished the robot he thought,
but android bot got back up, ever ready to fight. “this robot doesn’t give up” he thought to himself ,
acknowledging the toughness of android bot. “Well that’s why I’m a robot, I have to accomplish the task
written in my program” said android bot, almost as if he read butterflymans mind. “ I can see your’e
getting tired, with your increased heart rate and respiration, and your blood sugar level is falling
steadily, soon you shall be out of energy” said android bot confidently, “but I on the other hand am a
robot and I don’t tire out, I can do this all year long as I continuously charge my batteries with the solar
energy provided by the sun.” added android bot, and he was right, butterflyman cant beat something
that never runs out of energy and has practically all of his powers. He had to come up with something, a
weakness that robots had. Android bot then brought out his flame throwers, trying to burn butterfly
man, but butterfly man shielded himself and got close enough to whack the robot right in the nuts after
which android bot gave him a heavy blow to the gut ,then he realized robots didn’t have balls so he had
to think of something else. Then it struck him, the one weakness all electronic devices had; water.
If he could just direct water into android bots system, the robot would malfunction and deactivate, but
the problem was, where was he gonna get enough water to do that?, there was no river or ocean close
by that could provide enough water to overpower this robot. Then he sensed the water flowing through
the city’s plumbing system. He then blew open a fire hydrant and controlled the water towards android
bot. he was getting used to his water control powers so he wasn’t very accurate at targeting. He blew
out more water from different fire hydrants trying to catch android bot but the robot skillfully dodged all
his attempts. butterfly man knew he had to keep android bot still if he was going to get water into its
system and knew he himself too had to get wet to accomplish that. Now knowing butterfly mans plan
the robot got to a safe distance away from most fire hydrants, thinking he had escaped all butterfly
mans attacks. Then butterflyman flew with great speed at him, got a hold of the bot and both of them
tumbled on the ground till they stopped and android bot was the one on top of butterflyman. Android
bot, thinking he had won the fight was about to finish butterflyman off (again), but then felt the ground
wobbling. Then a great outburst of sewer water came from beneath them as they were directly on top a
sewer closure, drenching both android bot and butterflyman. The stinky sewer water wasted no time
damaging the robots circuits and soon the robot was powered down. Sure it was a messy scene, but
butterflyman had to do what he had to do to stop the robot. He then left the scene before the high
facility officers could arrive so as not to get in trouble. On his fly home he couldn’t help but think of the
person behind the turn of android bot against the city and how he was going to get this stench off his
body . The richest man in the world clearly was the one who planned for it to happen, but his plans were
foiled as butterflyman managed to defeat the android bot. he was very enraged at the turn of events
but still had better plans for the future downfall of butterflyman.
