There was the sound of rapid footsteps. Crunching trough twigs and pushing through leaves along with the panting of a girl.

"Come out come out little girl," she heard a husky voice whisper from the shadows, "did you know how hard it was to get in here? The least you could do is okay with me a little more."

She was smart, and ever since the occurrences she'd been doing research and she knew what they were up to, she only needed one more hour. One more our and all of Mist Fallen would have been notified.

Her ankle had already been practically mangled by the thing in the shadows earlier, and it hurt like hell, but she continued her running even if it wasn't very fast. Even if the thing was right behind her. She'd run until she couldn't anymore.

"So pitiful," the things laughed batting her aside as if she was nothing. She was, she didn't know what type of spell was casted over the area but it was enough for her magic to be out of use, and the Phantoms not to notice her.

She stumbled into the brush, red vegetation scratching at her face as her belongs tumbled from her pockets.

She screamed, but knew no one would hear her. These things blotted our all sounds of life, sound, feel, movement.

"Come on, you have to! You aren't the only one at stake, do something for yourself for once in your life!"

The girl grit her teeth and got back up and once again continued her slow, sprint, screaming bloody murder for anyone that could hear her.

"Run, run little girl!"

She stumbled into the courtyard, and finally the teasing was over her. The dark mass shadowed over her horrified face as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

She wasn't heard.

Jaeins eyes burst open, wide and crazed with fear in the wake of her dream. But there was no monster, no girl, and no shadows.

But her dark lashes revealed her to a new world, a place she'd never been before. She looked to be in a library, laying on a brown leather couch around a small wood coffee table, that was slo surrounded by matching chairs and love seats. The room stretched out across a rug of navy blue and expanded into shakers and shelves of books, running lengthwise from the small couches.

She looked around in awe and saw that above her was a large mural of a solar system, she wasn't sure how many it was or what solar systems but there were surely more than the Milky Way. The extended across the ceiling, some parts of the model made from iron, gold and bronze.
