Garroth was desperate not to let Aphmau pull anything sinister, and was pleased at the plan he came up with in the moment.

"Sooo, Garroth... truth or dare?" Aphmau sang, looking quite like a cat about to have its next meal.

"Truth." Garroth answered confidently. There's nothing Aphmau could pull on a tru-

"Do you like anyone?" She asked gleefully. Garroth blushed, his ears heating up.

"I, um, well I mean I do, but it's not-" He stammered out.

"Come one Aphmau," Kaitlyn whined. "You can do better than that!" Aphmau stick her tongue out at her friend.

"Fine, fine! Then Garroth, do you like-"

"You already asked your question!" Laurence interjected, to Garroth's relief. He shot his crush a grateful little smile but he quickly looked away. Garroth bit his lip but stayed quiet before surveying the group. It was now his turn to ask a truth or dare someone, and he landed on Kaitlyn.

"Kaitlyn, truth or dare?"

"Psh dare, obviously."

"I dare you to order us all a pizza and and show up to the door in the craziest outfit you have." He dared, grinning as Kaitlyn's jaw dropped.

"What?! No way! That's so embarrassing!" She protested, adding to Garroth's glee.

"Yep! But you have to, it's the dare." He practically purred. Oh Irene, he was turning into Aphmau. Kaitlyn grumbled and groaned as she got up to make the call and get ready. Travis was snickering behind her back, and as entertaining as his dare was, he slipped into his thoughts, tuning the rest of the events out.

He understood if the night was a mistake to Laurence- it would hurt, but he understood. But still, this ignoring... they were best friends and that hurt, even more than if he regretted the kiss.

"Garroth... Garroth!"

Garroth jumped back to reality at the snapping of Aphmau's fingers next to his ears.

"Ack sorry, sorry!" He yelped, jumping up at Aphmau's giggles.

"The pizza's here, come on. That was an awesome dare by the way, with free pizza too!" She grabbed him and pulled him up and over to the table by his elbow. Everyone was already seated and eating, and the only chair left was next to Laurence. He glanced suspiciously at Aphmau who just smiled innocently in response. Yeah, she definitely knew something was up.

Sitting down, he grabbed a slice of pizza and took a bite, taking in the conversation. If he could make this last long enough, then maybe they'd forget the game. Smiling to himself he tried to keep the conversation going, but the pizza eventually ran out, and people were getting antsy.

"Alright, back to the game!" Aphmau announced, standing up. Travis and Kaitlyn cheered as they went over to the living room once more, Garroth dragging his feet. Kaitlyn was looking around at each person, weighing her options. When she finally landed on Laurence, her eyes lit up.

"Laurence, truth or dare..."
