"No matter what happens, I love you Peter Quill," you whispered to the man beside you, holding down your gun to the side of your thigh.

Peter's moss colored eyes engulfed the sight of you, as if it would be the last time and he pulled you roughly by the neck down to his face. He kissed you hard and slipped a little tongue action before pulling away to rest his forehead against your own. "You're so hot. Let's do this, baby."

The two of you round the corner and started to shoot down toward the invader of the Milano. A light laughter graced your ears and you giggled as water rained down onto your six year old son.

"No fair! You have Daddy on your side!"

"Hey all's fair in love and war, kid," Peter squirted his water gun at the boy's chest. He frowned up at the two of you and you swore he was the spitting image of his handsome father.

"You got 'em cornered kid?"

Rocket shouted from underneath the table and the little boy whistled and ran for cover. Instantly, Rocket came flying from his hiding place and presented an extra large water gun, spraying the hell out of Peter and you.

"You freaking raccoon!"

Peter yelped and pulled you into his chest, moving his back to Rocket so he could protect you from the harsh water. You laughed into Peter's soaking chest and looked up at the wet man.

"This is the life, isn't it Quill?"

A wild giggle came from behind you as the water subsided and the two of you turned to see your son and Rocket laughing on the ground. Peter slipped his arm around your waist and brought you into his side.

"It sure is, baby."
